Fire midfielder Logan Pause. Conrad had won the award for his work being a spokesperson for
Athletes Against Autism and the Child Protection Center. He's also helped with the UN's Nothing but

I was going to wait until Wednesday's former Wizards update for this, but decided it was too big of
news to not touch on, on it's own. Former Wizard, Diego Gutierrez, is going to be receiving a big
honor on Thursday. Gutierrez, who retired at the end of last season will be inducted into the
Humanitarian Hall of Fame in Boise Idaho.

Apparently, we're all about promoting parties this week.
Join members of the Screaming Eagles for a special pub crawl this Saturday (April 18). The crawl
will take place up in the U Street Corridor area and include stops at Duffy's, DC-9, Polly's and

On 23 April 2008, the United Nations Foundation hosted civic, religious, business, and sports
leaders to promote Malaria prevention throughout Africa as part of the week leading up to World
Malaria Day on 25 April. MLS Commissioner Don Garber was in attendance to represent the League's
ongoing partnership with the Nothing But Nets, a grassroots campaign that works to save lives
through distribution of $10 bed nets.
