He might have flopped during his time at Manchester United so far, but Wilfried Zaha proved he can cut it in the Premier League with a great debut performance for Cardiff yesterday. The England international was brought on for his first appearance since joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side on loan in the 38th minute of [.

A superb strike from Gareth Barry followed by a free-kick from Kevin Mirallas secured an impressive win for Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday. Strugglers Norwich once again struggled to create enough decent chances as the Toffees bossed most of the game.
Norwich City 0-1 Manchester United Premier League 28th December 2013
Sub Danny Welbeck's second-half goal was enough to secure victory for Man Utd at Carrow Road on Saturday. That win makes it four victories on the trot in the league for David Moyes' men after they produced a discplined display against a Norwich City that struggled to threaten the United goal too often.
Sunderland 0-0 Norwich City Premier League 21st December 2013
Sunderland stay bottom for Christmas after a fairly insipid display at home to Norwich on Saturday. There were too few moments of quality from either side, but especially the hosts, who were desperately in need of a win.

A superb long-range volley from Norwich's in-form hitman Gary Hooper secured a point for the home side at Carrow Road. Swansea had taken an early lead courtesy of Nathan Dyer after an error from Sebastien Bassong but ex-Celtic man Hooper hit back in fine fashion on the stroke of half-time.

Leroy Fer set up Gary Hooper for Norwich's first goal before netting the second himself as Chris Hughton's men secured a win which moves them four points clear of the drop-zone and two points clear of the struggling Baggies.
The problem with world soccer games is that there are often times where there are too many excellent matches on at the same time. Which one(s) should we watch?
Today's a perfect example as there are four key matches on at the same time — the Madrid derby, Tottenham Hotspur versus Cardiff, the relegation battle between Swansea and Crystal Palace and, last but not least, Aston Villa versus Norwich City.
Arsenal: Was the Rosicky goal vs Sunderland better than Wilshere's effort? - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Arsenal's 4-1 win over struggling Sunderland at the Emirates on Saturday kept the Gunners within touching distance of Premier League leaders Chelsea, with Tomas Rosicky's fine effort the pick of the goals.
The fracas that saw both Loic Remy and Bradley Johnson sent off in the game at Norwich City, has resulted in both clubs being fined, because they failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behavior. That's FA language for saying both sets of players just lost it.
Both Sammy Ameobi and Hatem Ben Arfa are included in the starting line-up at Norwich City tonight. Sammy Ameobi gets start at Norwich Newcastle will line up in a 4-3-3 formation with Ben Arfa, Remy and Sammy Ameobi the front three, and there's no Yoan Gouffran in the squad so we assume he's [...]

After Fulham defeated Norwich City in yesterday's FA Cup Third Round replay, Manchester City will want to do the business against Blackburn today in order to help manager Manuel Pellegrini move towards winning all four pieces of silverware that are in their reach thus far, according to the Chilean manager.
The 2013 January transfer window has opened and closes on January 31 in England, while the window stays open through Febuary 2 in Spain, France, Germany and Italy.
With this season being one of the tightest Premier League races in years — for the clubs near the top of the table, and the bottom half of the table, expect there to be a lot of activity in this transfer window as clubs aim to improve or solidify their positions.
Chris Hughton is by all accounts one of the nicest men in English football. His demeanor and actions as a gentleman have made neutrals like I root for his sides whenever the clubs we support are not playing against a team he manages. As a fan of his, I was very excited by the signings made this summer by Norwich — players who seemingly could transform the Canaries into contenders for a European place.
Possible Manchester United Starting Line-Up Against Norwich - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Manchester United will take on Norwich City at the Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League, looking to extend their winning streak to six games.
After a stuttering start to the season, the Red Devils are finally getting back to their familiar groove and the confidence in the camp will be high after earning a 3-2 victory against Hull City on Boxing Day.
Liverpool or should that be Luis Suarez handed out a hammering to Norwich mid-week, while West Brom could only muster one shot on target in their 3-2 defeat to Manchester City also mid-week so maybe a bore draw is in the offing. However I'd go for a Baggies win myself given Norwich's abysmal form of late.
In stark contrast to their shocking defeat at the hands of Hull, Liverpool completely turned their fortunes around on Wednesday night in a 5-1 rout over Norwich. The magical Luis Suarez scored four times whilst Raheem Sterling netted the fifth. The game sees the Reds remain fourth in the table with West Ham at home for their next fixture.
Confusing I know, and I realise that if the attention wanders for a day or two one loses track completely, but just so everyone is clear – this week the dial is being flicked over to "CRISIS".
Not that that seemed to register with our heroes. Bless them, they had to play twice this week don't you know, and chug through passport control and squat into their Easyjet seats and whatnot, so it was unsurprising that a few of them looked like they were just biding time until they received a leg massage.

It did not take Clint Dempsey very long to break back into Fulham's lineup.
Just days after his two-month loan with the Cottagers officially began, Dempsey earned a start for the club in a 1-1 FA Cup draw vs. Norwich City. Dempsey was deployed up top, had one shot and went the distance in the third round road match that will now be replayed at Craven Cottage on Jan.
Here's hoping you all had an at least above-average Christmas Day this year. Rather than do individual reports for each Premier League game on Boxing Day, I've decided on a smorgasbord of the best photos of the day, mainly due to laziness!
Good to see Touré not getting suspended. Players like him belong on the pitch! What happens at Carrow Road stays at Carrow Road. RickyvanWolfswinkel (@RvWolfswinkel9) February 10, 2014 Norwich striker Rocky Van Wolfswinkel has revealed he is glad that Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure wasn't given a suspension for kicking him.
