Having already wrapped up the Premier League title, Manchester United capped off a wonderful campaign with an extraordinary 5-5 draw against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns. United twice led by a three-goal margin, but the home side – inspired by Romelu Lukaku's second-half hat-trick – managed to battle back each time.

If you missed any of the seven matches in the Premier League today, watch the match highlights below. While the games weren't as exciting as the final day of the Championship season, for good reason, there was still plenty to enjoy.

There was one match, in particular, that was my match of the day that opened up the entire battle to avoid relegation.

On a rather disappointing day in the Premier League, there still were some interesting highlights including red cards, an attempted own goal from 40 yards, clubs heading closer to relegation, and fisting-pumping managers.

You certainly can't discredit Arsenal's flair for the dramatic, as the Gunners left it late in their game against Norwich to clinch the three points as the English Premier League season builds up to its dramatic conclusion.

In the broader scope of the season, Arsenal have just left it late, as this push has let them leap into third place, sitting a mere six points behind Manchester City.

It was a low-scoring day in the Premier League today, but as usual there were plenty of talking points including a controversial penalty kick, a shot that did or didn't cross the line, as well as clubs reaching safety in the league on a very rain-soaked day in England.

Arsenal 3-1 Norwich City Premier League 13th April 2013

This was, in many ways, a trademark Arsenal performance. Totally dominating in terms of possession, the Gunners failed to make their dominance pay for most of the game and, not for the first time, eventually went a goal behind.

Arsenal scored three times in the last five minutes as they came from behind to defeat Norwich City 3-1 at the Emirates to leapfrog Spurs and Chelsea and move into third place in the Premier League.

With Tottenham Hotspur not playing this weekend and Chelsea playing Manchester City on Sunday in the second FA Cup semi-final, the Gunners took advantage against their struggling opponents.

The ten Premier League teams in action on Saturday definitely saved their best for last as nine of the day's 10 goals were scored in the second half.

Four of those second half goals came from one match, a 3-1 Arsenal win over Norwich City. As a 55th-minute header from Norwich's Michael Turner began to put hopes of an Arsenal move to third place in jeopardy, the host Gunners equalized in the 85th minute off of a controversial penalty.

One moment in this match between Arsenal and Norwich City was the turning point in this game. Up until then, it was a very close encounter between Arsenal and Norwich.

While there were only four matches in the Premier League today, there were 13 goals for an average of 3.25 goals per game. One team was doomed to probable relegation, while another one looks like they may escape the drop. At the same time, one club's run of form pushes them down into the relegation battle.

Which clubs have the best attacking efficiency and best defensive resiliency in the Premier League for the 2012-13 season-to-date?

On the basis of attacking efficiency, the research is measured based on the number of shots taken per goal scored.

For defensive resiliency, it's measured on the numbers of shots faced per goal conceded.

Which player has the best win percentage at every Premier League club that has played in the top flight of England from 1992-2013?

Some of the findings may surprise you. Out of the 45 teams who have played in the Premier League since it was founded, there are memorable names from the history of British football with greats such as Alan Shearer.

Which club has the youngest average age in the Premier League? And vice-versa, which club has the oldest average age? The answers may surprise you.

First, the club with the oldest average is the one that sits at the very bottom of the league — Queens Park Rangers, where the average age is 28.

It was another action packed day in the Premier League with 22 goals in 8 goals for an average of 2.75 goals per match. Despite the fact that the exciting matches today were sandwiched between a boring early kick-off and an equally dire late match, there was still plenty to savor including some sensational goals.

Norwich City have unveiled their new home kit for next season, designed and manufactured by Errea.

The familiar canary yellow shirt color is accented with green sleeves and green sides to the shirt, as well as a green v-neck collar. The kit is matched with green shorts and yellow socks.

Overall, it's a very clean looking design that is simple yet effective.

With Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa winning over the weekend, there are now an incredible eight teams who are still in danger of being relegated as the 18th place team in the league this season. And there are only 2-3 matches remaining this season.

Forty points this season may not be enough to guarantee safety.

Norwich City will play three friendlies in the United States this summer as part of their pre-season tour.

The Canaries will be joining Chelsea, Manchester City and Stoke City who have already announced pre-season matches in the United States this summer.

Chris Hughton's side will fly to California on July 15.

The battle to beat the drop in the Premier League is heating up with just five games to go; five teams all fighting for survival and just one spot left to fight for. With Reading and QPR now as good as relegated, the battle to avoid relegation couldn't be more intense. Norwich City, Stoke City, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic are all in contention.

Norwich City 4-0 West Bromwich Albion Premier League 11th May 2013

Norwich secured their Premier League status for another season after a thumping 4-0 mauling of West Brom at Carrow Road.

Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring in the first-half against a feeble West Brom side, with second-half goals from Grant Holt, after a right clanger from Ben Foster, Gareth McAuley (OG) and Jonny Howson (with a superb curling effort) earning the home side a deserved victory against a Baggies side who looked utterly jaded and bereft of a spark.

Gabi Agbonlahor has kickstarted his own season in recent weeks and in doing so, the fleet-footed attacker has also helped his side move closer to securing their top tier status for another season.

Stoke City 1-0 Norwich City Premier League 27th April 2013

Charlie Adam was the goal-hero for Stoke on Saturday, producing a fine finish just after the break to move the Potters a healthy eight points clear of the drop-zone.

This game was never going to be too pleasing on the eye, with very few decent passages of play.

Norwich City 2-1 Reading Premier League 20th April 2013

Two Bennetts, Ryan and Elliott secured a 2-1 win for Norwich at Carrow Road on Saturday, a result which hammers another nail into Reading's top tier coffin.

The Royals had looked lively in the first half, but within the space of two second-half minutes, their faint hopes of surviving in the Premier League were given a couple of hefty blows, courtesy of Ryan Bennett's goal on 50 minutes and then Elliott Bennett's two minutes later.

A late strike from in-form Luke Moore secured a share of the points for Swansea at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The home side are still looking over their shoulder at the relegation battle and were desperate for a win in a very open game.

Wigan Athletic 1-0 Norwich City Premier League 30th March 2013

Aroune Koné was the goal-hero for Wigan on Saturday, netting a late winner against Norwich which could prove vital in their battle to avoid the drop.

Wigan's relegation-defying feats have become an annual occurrence but for large periods of this game at the DW Stadium, the home side struggled to get into gear.

A pair of MLS alumni will be facing off this weekend in a match-up with serious English Premier League relegation ramifications when Kei Kamara and Norwich City take on Brad Guzan and Aston Villa in one of the weekend's more intriguing match-ups.

There are more high-profile match-ups like Bayern Munich-Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea-Manchester United, but in terms of a match involving two teams that badly need a result, few are more meaningful this weekend than Norwich City's clash with the Villans, who are riding high after their thrashing of Sunderland earlier in the week.
