As the curtains draw open for the AFCON tournament, attention will definitely be on a number of

Liverpool are ready to snap up French Under 17 star M'Baye Niang from Caen, according to the Daily
Mirror.
The 16-year-old signed a new contract with Caen in January, however it's been reported that the
paperwork was filed incorrectly, making one of the hottest young prospects in world football
available on a free transfer.
Liverpool is the latest club to be linked to Caen rising star M'baye Niang and are reported to have
made an initial enquiry to the French club.
Skysports.com understands that Tottenham made a bid for the 16-year-old sensation in the closing
days of June after watching the striker burst onto the scene at the end of last season.
A fee of £8m for French under 17 international M'Baye Niang may have seemed like a lot of money
so have Spurs taken that into account and really secured the services of a cheaper striker from
South America?
Young Mexican forward Antonio Pedroza claims that a £1m deal has already been agreed between
Spurs and his home club Jaguares and he has had this to say on the subject,
"I can announce that my transfer to Tottenham has been arranged.
Transfer rumours with regards to players arriving at White Hart Lane have certainly died down a
