Reporter Phil Collin follows up Thursday's initial news with a more detailed story in today's
newspaper you can read here.
Preki, as usual playing his cards close to his chest, doesn't reveal a whole lot:
"I've been here four years and I think we have done a pretty decent job advancing
Chivas to a certain level.

Tomorrow sees us take on Sunderland at home in what has now become a massive match. Steve Bruce has
taken them to the next level, although they're a sort of Jackal and Hyde side as they're nowhere
near as good on their travels as they are when playing at home. Sound familiar?
The good news is that Jones won't be bullying King and Woodgate, but we'll still have Darren Bent
to worry about.

Duders. I think it's been obvious over the past couple of months that my productivity levels
with regard to this blog have fallen. New commitments have forced me to stretch myself a tad too
thin. Of course, my quality of writing is still pristine you know it to be true but I really want
to start bombarding the people with a plethora of intelligent, insightful, satirical, comedic,
humorous, pompous, demented, borderline insane material.

Hot on the heels of more Robinho exit rumours comes Guillem Balague's considered view:
The Premier league club have no intention of selling their star player and Barcelona do
not have sufficient funds to even consider making a large enough bid that might give City reason to

Nasri and Fabianski travel to Wolves to get some match fitness after recovering from their
pre-season injuries, it should be a couple of weeks until Nasri is fully sharp but he has a fight
on to get his place in the team back after Arshavin, Rosicky, Song and lately Diaby have all put in
some great performances.

Life
It can be difficult
You know that
We all need someone to rely on
Someone who's going to be there
Someone who's going to make you feel like you belong
Someone constant
It's ectasy, anguish, joy and despair
Part of our history
Part of our country
And it will be part of our future
It's theatre, art, war and love
It should be predictable .

By CHRIS LARKIN With Rugby Union's blood gate incident taking up the majority of Sky Sports'
time I was relieved to see Football back as the main focus point of the channel and was shocked to
see that Chelsea had been ban from making any transfers until January 2011.
I do have sympathy towards Chelsea's case in the way they appear to be singled out but if I'm
quite honest I find it hard to actually feel sorry for teams when so many Stockport County players
have been poached over the years for pittance, it's disgraceful we spend time and money training
quality players that could get County to the next level and then get sold on for alot of money but
the ‘bigger' clubs always come in and coax the naive kids into coming to the bigger team, when in
actual fact all it does if deprive County of a player that could've really helped us and in many
cases will ruin the players career.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has urged the club's owners to make funds available in order to secure
the transfer of David Villa from Spanish Primera Division side Valencia.
Villa was courted by both Barcelona and Real Madrid during the summer but while the Blaugrana
eventually opted to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Inter Milan, Los Blancos signed Karim Benzema from
Lyon.

The Gold Coast Blue Rinse Set were hardly in this match. They appear to be suffering from taking
victories for granted. Although the real message is about their lack of tactical wisdom. CCM were
not great, the Blue Rinses were poor.

Yet another brilliant advert from Nike that we have to show you this week, they should really
pay us for this. This weeks is the Portugal vs Brazil Ole advert, which includes brilliant skill,
funny moments, the obvious Eric Cantona cameo and a great tackle by the ref. I love how they all
look battered at the end and what a soundtrack.

Nike has done a series of commercials with some clubs' top players making a "pledge" to reach
certain goals this season. Arsenal's is pretty sweet:
Man, I love this team. Although am I evil for thinking it would have been funny if it had had
Diaby saying something like "Dribble past 6 defenders and kick the ball out of bounds for no
reason," Emmanuel Eboue saying "Tackle the ball away from my own teammates," or Lukasz Fabianski
saying "Come and out and challenge for every ball .

Man City are continuing their relentless pursuit of John Terry, with crazy figures like £300k
