The everlasting debate of us signing a keeper to replace Gomes, raged through the office once
again.
I do thank my lucky stars that most of my prestigious colleagues claimed that Gomes is a better
keeper than Ben Foster.
I didn't want to name and shame the under writer of yet another pointless office rant, but Pat, who
also happens to be my boss, started the "Gomes Out" campaign at the beginning of last season.

I came across a site last week which captured my attention. It's a site not dissimilar to most news
aggregator websites like Footballblips, NewsNow and Soccerblogs. However, the nicest thing about
CleverFootball.com is that the football news from blogs and/or broadsheets are segregated by teams.
So one can read every news available on his/her team at CleverFootball.

Is anyone else starting to get a little nervous for the Man City "project"?
I was thrilled by the way the team were playing for the first two months of the season. Â They
were incisive, dashing, and had a swagger about them that said "we can do this". Â As sure as one
swallow doesn't make a summer, a handful of early victories doesn't define a season.

The Offside 27 August @ 05:00 PM EST
Though we regularly link to our favourite football blogs in the Daily Dose, there are certain other
sites out there that we (or at least I) visit everyday, but don't get a chance to mention. Most of
these are aggregator sites like SoccerBlogs.net, which does exactly what it says on the tin and

<!-- @page { margin: 2cm } P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm } --> To celebrate the increase of
traffic since linking up with 'Newsnow' I have spent vast amounts of time and money re-painting the

If the mark that you've made it as a blogger is a monumental spam attack, then I've hit the big
time this week, with a number of unruly peoples (or bots, probably) hammering the site, bypassing
most of WordPress'defensive efforts, which frankly make Silvestre's look watertight.
One long clean up later, and we're back on track, with a major increase in the protection level
around here.

Here we go again.... "Arsenal sign star striker"Â "mega deal imminent" "Wenger swoops for star"
These will be just some of the headlines we will see this summer as the transfer window swings open
and the rumour mill goes into overdrive. Now I keep telling myself not to look at Newsnow and
believe .

As a football supporter, I find that a good blog is a great addition to media websites. First, it's
nice to have more voices available, but more than that, a well-written blog provides better
coverage than most media outlets.
As the new Arsenal season is under way, I've been looking for some more Arsenal blogs to follow - I
need my fix.

WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Just when the club needed to close ranks, and revive the memories of a football club triumphant
in success, and before the images of the two Arsenal players in conflict at White Hart lane was
fading from our minds. The unacceptable face of Arsenal football club reared it's ugly head.
