It can't have escaped your attention that John Terry is due to stand trial on charges of racial
abuse for shouting 'you know what' at 'you know who' on July 9th, i.
Still no power, so here is a quick survey of how the local newsapers are covering their team's
win or loss in Sunday's compelling Conference Final matchup. We'll start in Utah, where RSL
continues to enjoy strong local coverage from both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News. The
Trib sports section included a hard news report on the 3-1 defeat as well as an array of stories
in the days leading up to the match.
For some reason, I had it in my head that the match with Bolton was going to be on Wednesday. So
I was going to write a nice little news report today, and then we'd roll out a preview tomorrow.
But alas, the schedule is a little different. We apparently have only one day off in between, so I
have to do the preview today.

This morning, while laying somewhere between consciousness and its opposite, I thought for a
moment that I'd entered a Utopian Wonderland where all things were equal and where everything was
fair.
According to a recent Police report, Daniel Pacheco was arrested on Friday and is facing a burglary
charge after allegedly relieving his neighbour of an X-Box 360.The news report states: "The
neighbor reported earlier this month that his Southwest Albuquerque house had been burglarized and
an Xbox 360 and other related equipment were missing.
Lisle Austin, who was suspended by CONCACAF's Executive Committee for alleged violations of the
confederation statutes, claims that he has won an injunction against the ExCo ruling in a Bahamian
court, according to Simon Evans of Reuters on his Twitter feed. (His news report is located here.)
The reason Austin sought an injunction in the Bahamas lies in CONCACAF's statutes, in which they
define themselves as a non-profit with legal domicile in Nassau.

Where were you on April 15th 1989? I was at Clarence Park in St Albans, for a Vauxhall-Opel
