Despite Aston Villa's best efforts, it appears Robbie Keane will head back to the Los Angeles
Galaxy later this month -- just as scheduled.

Oh how Newcastle boss Alan Pardew must be counting down the hours 'til his double dose of
Dembas, Ba and Papiss Cisse, return to the north-east of England.
Senegal striker Papiss Demba Cisse will team up with international team-mate Demba Ba at Newcastle
United after signing from Freiburg for a fee thought to be around £10m.
Cisse has signed a five-and-a-half-year at the club and will wear the much-coveted number nine
shirt. The 26-year-old will have to wait for his Newcastle debut due to his involvement in the
Africa Cup of Nations.
Good signing from Newcastle today, who completed the signing of Freiburg striker Papiss Demba
Cisse for around £10 million. Cisse has signed at five-and-a-half-year deal with Newcastle.
Newcastle will partner Cisse up-front with his international team-mate Demba Ba, whichh should
end rumors that Demba Ba is leaving Newcastle anytime soon.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is now ready to go after Ashley Williams of Swansea. Ashley Williams

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has again defended Andy Carroll after accusing the media of
targeting the most expensive British footballer in history.
Ahead of a reunion with former club Newcastle on Friday, the record-breaking £35million striker
has endured a torrid 12 months in 2011 after moving to Anfield last January.

Liverpool's chances of signing Newcastle United star Jose Enrique have been boosted after Alan
Pardew made it known he would be interested in signing Paul Konchesky as a replacement for the
Spaniard, Goal.com can reveal.
Enrique is Liverpool's first choice to solve the club's problem left-back position in the summer
and Newcastle's interest in Reds defender Konchesky raises the possibility of a player-plus-cash
deal.
Liverpool are on the verge of securing deals for two long-term transfer targets in Aston Villa
winger Ashley Young and Newcastle United defender Jose Enrique, according to reports in the
Guardian.
The Metro reported at the weekend that Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish would be handed a
'significant' transfer budget in the summer and while many expect a host of arrivals it is more
likely the money will be used to fill two crucial areas.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce says he lost out on the chance to sign Andy Carroll for £4.5million
while managing at Wigan, because it was beyond his budget.
Carroll, who broke the British transfer record when he arrived at Liverpool from Newcastle for
£35million on transfer deadline day, caught Bruce's eye while playing for the Magpies just over
three years ago.
According to Pete O'Rourke at Sky Sports News, Newcastle boss Alan
Pardew admitted that the club could permanently sign midfielder Stephen
Ireland from Aston Villa. Pardew said,
"He's still got time to impress me because I still think there is a chance of something
