So yes, I'm a uniform nerd. I love things like this. And this. When adidas extended its MLS deal
through 2018 two years ago, I was silently doing fist pumps. Some aren't fans, but I generally dig
their designs and the iconic shoulder stripes, and the uniformity of the number and lettering
scheme is right up my alley.
Why dither when footy is hither? Aight, so I'm a nerd and Greg is slicker than me with the hip hop
lingo. Guess Black Thought hasn't seeped in after hundreds of hours of repeated listening. Back to
my Shakespearean sonnets and fields of gillyflowers it is. - Klinsmann wanted a game in Central
America for the expressed purpose of exposing some of his more untested young guns to the
"Yeah we gotcha!" was what Benzema was probably singing to himself after he scored a peach of a

Hey, hey, it's almost Saturday, which means we're gearing up for the last league match before
we're forced to endure another long, pointless, soul-crushing international break. So go ahead and
get really pumped for the weekend, just know that come Saturday afternoon, your life has no
purpose.

I read a status update on my friend's Facebook page the other day and it read something of the
sort, "On My Way to Comic Con 2011".
I will be honest, the first thought that ran through my head was, "Man, what a total NERD!" And
then after a few minutes I pondered a couple of things.
Ah, the GD. No, not "God damn" (although TFC's may make you blurt that) nor "Gerry Dobson"
(although you may blurt "
God damn, Gerry Dobson stop showing me TFC's GD!"). The GD we
refer to today is of course "Goal Difference" (or differential if you're a high falutin' professor
type. Nerd.) Currently Toronto FC has the worst GD in MLS at a whopping -19, a full -9 worse than
the next most useless club.
In 1987, there was a cheesy teen comedy movie called "Can't Buy Me Love." For those of you
fortunate enough to not know this movie, let me explain the gist of it. A nerdy high school kid
named Ronald has some money saved up for a new telescope. At about the same time, a popular
cheerleader named Cindy finds herself in desperate need of money.
A friend of mine recently splashed some cash on a pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III's, and
being the cleat nerd that I am, I had to take a couple of photos. In case you're not much of a Nike
fan, don't worry as I've got my review of the Adidas F50 Adizero coming soon. The F50's arrived a
few weeks ago from SoccerPro, and I'm finishing up the testing now.

Odds are not even someone who's logged over 1,000 hours on "Championship Manager," owns a different
soccer shirt for every day of the month, or rearranges their schedule around live game action from
around the globe -- aka a genuine soccer nerd -- raised an eyebrow when then-West Bromwich Albion
manager Roberto di Matteo signed Peter Odemwingie in August from Lokomotiv Moscow for a little

David Beckham graces the cover of the Spring/Summer issue of the semi-annual men's fashion mag,
Fantastic Man. After seeing these pics we think it's advisable for Fantastic Man
to change its name to Super Smokin' Hot Man.
Has Becks ever looked better?
Bacary Sagna has been on a roll this season. Save for the recent red card against Manchester
City, which in all fairness was well deserved, he's been consistently good, if not great. Like
Clichy on our left, Sagna's speed adds a great deal of opportunity on our right flank. In addition,
his crosses and offensive skill have gotten better with time but without sacrificing his defensive
capabilities.
