I've held off on using my wild card this week despite carrying a lot of dead weight. My dead weight
is all in the sub 6M range, so will be relatively easy to replace over the next 2-3 weeks, but for

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (5.2M) and the woeful
Nenad Milijas (5.

So, what do we know after either one or two matches per team? I have to say, not a heck of a lot.
Here's a quick recap of my observations...
1) CoverItLive is a really great tool - thank you to everyone who showed up to the blog over the

re-create as frequently as we can (sorry, mid-week won't work because I have a day job and Premier
League matches are generally on at 3 PM on the East Coast of the US).

history have all three promoted teams survived their first season and that happened
in 2001/2002 when Fulham, Bolton and Blackburn all avoided the drop.

Premiership is not an easy league to grow accustomed to and players coming from abroad will need
some time before starting to show all their potential. There hasn't been a lot of star signings
from abroad so far and the best is definitely yet to come. However, here are a couple of players

The step from Championship to Premiership is probably the biggest step a team have to
make in football and Wolverhampton are obviously aware of this. Wolves made it to the

The first thing every club need to do upon achieving promotion to English Premier League is to
significantly reinforce the squad with a couple of new signings. Wolverhampton
were very convincing in the Championship last season but they are eager to create a competitive
squad and thus avoid the drop immediately upon returning to Premiership, which is something they
