What do we mean by "prehistoric"? We mean before FIFA adopted co-opted, some might say
women's soccer a couple of decades ago, with its history seemingly dated to the 1990s. Though there
has been some coverage of the pre-war era (especially the interesting focus put on Dick, Kerr
Ladies), the period between the end of the Second World War and the fall of the Berlin Wall is
patchily covered, at least to our knowledge (feel free to leave links to any good books, essays,

following the entire game, even during his interview with Zarek Valentin for an upcoming podcast.

Anyway you slice it, El Clasico is the marquee match of the weekend and will command the eyes of
soccer fans around the world. Real Madrid is currently in the driver's seat in La Liga, leading
Barcelona by three points, placing added significance on a match that doesn't need any extra
luster.

was blanked by Connecticut 3-0 i NCAA Championship action.

Only one women soccer player with ties to Minnesota remains in the NCAA D1 Women's soccer

advance to the final 8 teams in the country who are vying for the national NCAA Championship after

DURHAM, N.C.-Former Duke University men's soccer head coach John Rennie will be
honored for his success in and service to the game of soccer when he is inducted into the North
Carolina Hall of Fame on Jan. 22. The longtime coach led Duke to the school's first NCAA title in
any sport when the Blue Devils captured the 1986 NCAA Championship.

Major League Soccer's annual draft unfolds tomorrow. There will be game changers taken early who
