With J Hutcherson -- And some eyes turn to Seattle. More than you would think if the Western
Conference Final rating is an indication. That game was scheduled at an inconvenient time for the
East Coast, so maybe prime time on Sunday works out. The major competition is NBC's Football Night
In America.

Gotta love when a little cable channel is hyping their big broadcast. I'm starting to get more
emails from NBC and mun2 about next week's game. Here's a cool clip with a few of the game's
stars.
Enjoy!

Various sources (not to be confused with Various Styles) are reporting this morning that on August
12, the day of the United States - Mexico game, Telemundo affiliate mun2 (mun dos) will be offering
a "Free Preview" of their channel.

According to NBC Universal, mun2 has already received commitments from programming distributors
that almost double their current 31 million household subscriber base.

As some of you have seen over the last day or so on my Twitter feed (twitter.com/wvhooligan),
NBC Universal, the parent company of Telemundo and mun2 have been emailing the WVH inbox like no
other.
Two typical PR-style press releases and one in a slightly response to my post on the ball being

This week it was announced that the Mexico-US match at Azteca next month will only be available on
Telemundo and Mun2, with Mun2 carrying the English feed. This means many USMNT fans will have to
watch the Spanish language feed. This would not be so bad if it was on Univision or Telefutura, but
the Telemundo commentators are over the top in their Mexico bias.

If you were looking forward to watching the US-Mexico World Cup qualifier on August 12, you might
be out of luck. Steven Goff is reporting that Telemundo, which falls under the NBC family of
networks, is opting not to sell their English-language rights to ESPN for the match in Mexico
City.
With ESPN, who have broadcasted the rest of the USMNT qualifiers this year, out of the picture,
Telemundo will broadcast the game on mun2, a channel that frequently broadcasts in English and is
geared towards a younger demographic.

As most of you probably heard sometime between yesterday afternoon and this morning, there will
be no ESPN broadcast for the US-Mexico World Cup qualifier next month. Sad times I know.
Apparently the game in English will be shown on a channel most either have never heard of or
even have on their TVs.

broadcast in English.

The midfielder/forward leads his side in assists, and has notched two goals, including the game
tying goal against Chivas USA a few weeks back. His story is one that deserves to be told
overcoming addiction and learning how to appreciate life.

in? I might, just for the bizarre curiosity of it.

- If your gym has seventy-five TVs, but none of them are showing the Olympic semifinal between
