The last thing anyone wants in an All-Star game is an injury. Unfortunately for Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat, that's exactly what happened in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. With about five minutes remaining in the third quarter, Dwyane Wade sprained his ankle when he landed on the foot of Deron Williams.

Marion Barber III was detained at a Beverly Hills hotel earlier today. According to TMZ.com, Marion Barber III wasn't arrested after he agreed to leave the hotel. Why was the running back for the Dallas Cowboys in Beverly Hills' SLS Hotel? A good guess would be the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, which was played on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The West lead early in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. Despite a late run by the East, the West was able to take home a 148-143 victory. The West was led by Kobe Bryant's game-high 37 points and game-high 14 rebounds. For his efforts, Kobe Bryant was the MVP of this year's affair.

Kobe Bryant got help from young stud Kevin Durant, who poured in 34 points on 23 shot attempts.

The reserves were named for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. The starters for both the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference were named last Thursday. There is one spot still open in the Western Conference, however. Since Yao Ming is injured yet was still voted in as a starter, NBA commissioner David Stern will have to name a replacement player for the West.

The 2011 NBA All-Star Game is beginning to take shape. On Thursday, the NBA announced the starting lineups. Though there is no huge snub in either conference, it is notable that neither conference's best team (the Boston Celtics in the East and the San Antonio Spurs in the West) has a representative in the All-Star game starting lineup.
