Over-stuffed Crystal Palace shirt? Check. Forearm full of Navy tattoos? Check.

Arema v PSMS 2-1 (Noh Alam Shah, TA Mushafri; Julio Cesaer Alscorse) 13,000
Officials boasting that 13,000 fans attended this game but last year there would likely have been
double that crowd. The Arema team in the IPL is the same as the team that competed in the ISL last
year, they just have different, more IPL-friendly, owners than the other ISL Arema.
On Sunday December 4th, the United States finally managed to best Germany on the pitch with a
9-2 victory that will surely be remembered by American soccer historians for centuries to come. I
kid, I kid. Actually, on Sunday a group from the US Navy managed to beat a group from the German
Navy at that lovely little paradise in Africa known as Djibouti.

Between the years of 1966 and 1979, the Leicestershire toy manufacturer Palitoy sold no less
than 8 million jointed action figures – no, they weren't dolls, and they didn't bear any
resemblance to doll, okay?
Much is made of the booming interest in the Thai Premier League but I wonder how booming it really
is. Yes, 2009 was a good season but instead of consolidating or improving, 2010 was a mess and so
is the current season for reasons I have covered before.
But how about attendances? Are the fans supporting their local team?
Virginia Men's Soccer Entertains Navy at 7 p.m. Tuesday
There will be plenty of quality soccer for fans to keep track of today as UVa Men host Navy at 7
p.m. Virginia saw a jump in the polls (No. 18 Soccer America) following their defeat of then No. 2
Maryland giving the Terps their first loss of the season.

Presenting: Umbro's swish new Peter Saville-designed Special Edition Away kit range, a modified
version of the current strip which sees a couple of subtle changes made to the badge and the collar
with Saville's 'Modern England' design (the interlocked St George's crosses) cut-and-pasted from
the 'eye-catching' goalkeeper's jersey and the Three Lions rendered in monotone navy.

Following the recent launch of its 2011/12 away strip, last season's Australian A-League regular
season second place finishers and playoff finalists Central Coast Mariners Football Club have
officially unveiled their navy blue and yellow hummel 2011/12 home kit and goalkeeper jerseys.
According to the Mariners' website: Central Coast Mariners today officially launched the club's

Pies may have bought you the launch video yesterday, but we've now come into possession of a
large brown e-envelope stuffed with rather swanky photos of the new, navy and turquoise Arsenal
away kit for 2011/12 being displayed in Nike's new-fangled 'Twilight Zone' dressing room.
You started off with a bang and never looked back this weekend. 12-1, 3-1, 3-0 to get to the
play-offs. Then a spectacular 2-1, double OT victory over one of Spokane's finest, River City G95
Black, the #2 team out of Washington. And now the fun begins. At 8am tomorrow you take the pitch
against a team who has had a similar run.
Emily Cline, Glendale Falcons (2011)
The Post-Dispatch has the story from Wednesday's U18 Girls Final at the Missouri State Cup:
Cline came off the SLSG Green Academy bench to score the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over SLSG
Navy in the Under-18 women's championship game Wednesday night at the Scott Gallagher Complex.
Another nice day on the pitch ahead of us as temps started out in the low 70′s and aren't
supposed to exceed 79 later this afternoon. Slight cloud cover, it's pretty sweet compared to what
we've experienced in the past.
