Match Preview: Exeter vs Liverpool
Liverpool travel to St James' Park today to take on Exeter City in the second round of the
Carling Cup. This will be the first time the Reds have entered into the competition at this stage
since 1999. Overview Liverpool have had an unhappy knack of coming unstuck against lower league
opposition over the past few years, but will be looking to set the record straight when they take
on league one outfit Exeter City this evening.
