Dunga announced today the players who will play the last 2 matches of the year (against England and Oman). And he had a few surprises. Given that he decided not to call players from Brazilian clubs (and therefore was unable to call Adriano and Diego Tardelli), he called forward Hulk. But he wasn't the only surprise.

Who's got the freshest ink? Footballers love their ink. We love looking at the ink of footballers. Some of us more than others. Now would be the ideal time for Dopey to experiment seeing how the seleção have already qualified for the World Cup. What we don't get, however, is tio's love for Andre Santos!!!

Anyway, the squad for the remaining qualifiers against Venezuela and Bolivia has been finalised and it's nice to see Naldo and Diego Souza back again.

Barnet Analysis: Thomas Vermaelen may not be tall enough but Barazite will definitely be a top Gunner

The Gunning Hawk 19 July @ 06:30 AM EST

This game was a good test for the Arsenal team, especially to the first team players as Barnet played with a high tempo.

First let's start with the negative of the game. Remember not being too harsh on any of the players as this is the first pre season game.

Well Arsenal's new signing Vermaelen did not look to add any height in the team, he did seem to be quite short and so it proved when Barnet scored their first goal.

Internet site Sport.co.uk, the site that first reported the imminent signature of Thomas Vermaelen, though in fairness they do print so much garbage they are making Tribal football look respectable, are stating that Brazilian centre back Naldo is on his way from Werder Bremen to Arsenal.

They quote Werder Bremen coach who said, "Naldo is a great athlete and could do well at the right club, unfortunately he doesn't fit the direction we're planning to move in any longer.
