L'Impact Montréal, we love you and your Muppets
Over in Quebec (and the whole of North America), the Montréal Impact are starting to create a
steady buzz in the football community as they get ready to join MLS. I wrote a piece for The
Football Ramble on the unique challenges facing L'Impact.

Forget Thanksgiving. This week we're honoring the release of the brand new Muppet movie with a
line-up of our favorite furry or feathered puppet pals.
The Muppets are one-of-a-kind, endlessly creative, slightly manic, and a fantastic team to boot,
so, naturally, we made them Total Footballers.

Throughout the day, the QPR Report Messageboard has news updates,
comments and perspectives - even links to other board comments of interest re QPR matters (on and
off the field) along with football (and ONLY football) topics in general.
It's normally Sesame Street "that is brought to you by numbers..." but today its the turn of
Liverpool FC to introduce their 14, 26, 11 and 20 for the forthcoming 2011/12 season.
It wasn't that long ago that Liverpool's summer purchases were sadly under the control of two
muppets, neither as funny as Statler & Waldorf although their promises were certainly
laughable.
The biggest game of the season is upon us, so it only seems right that I get Den from The
Chelsea Blog to answer some questions for us.
Scott the Red: Six months ago, Chelsea were six points clear of United. Are you proud of
your current position after spending some time 5th in the league or frustrated your team threw away
the lead in the first place?
Right! This has now gone too far!. If Fernando Torres ever wanted to have a look at something to
give him that kick up the arse to prove the doubters wrong then he needs to have a look at this
website http://hastorresscoredforchelsea.com/
With over 87,000 "Likes" on Facebook and 3,800 Retweets it's doing the rounds.
Arsene is not going to stand back and take punishment for merely complaining about a diabolical
refereeing decision. He has spoken out in vigorous defence of his actions and he has some very
strong, but fair, words for the muppets at UEFA:"When you have a football game of that stature, you
cannot come out with decisions like that and show a lot of arrogance on top of that.
Nothing repeat nothing in football would make me happier than for Arsenal to win the title this
season, if one could add the relegation of a Mick McCarthy team life would be even more rosy. Add
in the relegation of a Pulis team and my cup would runneth over (is that a naughty
expression?)
Like millions of Gooners I was down-hearted at 5 p.
Waldorf and Statler, famous Muppets
There are still miracles in the world. Hungarian player Simon walked into De Kuip. Transfer
free. Feyenoord tested him in several matches and is certain: the lad is better than PSV's Balász
Dzsudzsák.
Mark van Bommel said he's sabotage the Ballon D'Or next year again.
