Right then, the good news is that Harry has spoken openly about us being light in the midfield
department.
"I am happy with the squad. The only area we are short of a body is central midfield", said Harry,
in preparation for the January sales.
Thank the lord! The only hurdle that I can see us falling on is that teams rarely give away their
best players in winter transfer window.

All and sundry are reporting that Harry is close to agreeing a deal to bring in Sandro Ranieri
Guimarães Cordeiro, or just Sandro to you and me.
This story popped up just before the summer transfer window closed and guess what, the same guys

FC Barcelona will kick start their defense of Champions League crown officially with the visit to
San Siro tonight. This match is set to bring out some stunning re-unions, most importantly Eto and
Ibrahmovic. Zlatan Ibrahmovic is set to have a very hostile reception from the Inter fans;
meanwhile Eto will feel a bit awkard playing against players who were his team mates for long six
years.

Milito, Lucio, etc.

What the hell is going on at Portsmouth? Despite Sulaiman Al Fayed passing the fit and proper
persons test that the Premier League subjected him to, he's still not completed the takeover at
Fratton Park. The fans of Pompey deserve better than this, it's not fair and it's getting beyond a
joke.

For all the transfer talk this summer, two pieces of business have really caught my eye.
Firstly, Glenn Johnson to Liverpool, and secondly Peter Crouch to Tottenham. Both players moved
from the South Coast overachievers Portsmouth, leaving the boys from Fratton Park dangerously thin
on first team players.

What a long, strange trip it's been for Portsmouth supporters. Just a little over a year ago,
Portsmouth Football Club lifted the FA Cup, qualified for Europe, and was enjoying its second
straight season in the top half of the table. Harry Redknapp was forgiven for his brief trip to
Southampton.

With this article, I realize that I risk angering some staunch Inter Milan supporters. But
since I have waited three long years to express my views on this issue, I feel obliged to let
them out. The truth is, I simply can't fathom why no one can stop Inter Milan in the Italian Serie
A.
Perhaps it is the lackluster attitude of their guilty rivals ever since the notorious
match-fixing scandals of 2006.

Zlatan the great
By Glezos Alberganti, La Settimana Sportiva
Another great performance by Zlatan Ibrahimovic granted Inter three valuable points in their
17th title quest (2-0). After struggling in the first half against a brave Lazio side, and with the
help of supersubs Hernan Crespo and Patrick Vieira, Mourinho's men came back on top with another
wonder goal by Ibra.

Ibrahimovic stepped up for Inter as the season approaches it's end and a 4th Scudetto gets
closer and closer. He scored the first and set up Muntari for the second with a sumptuous through
ball. He also made a gesture to silence the fans, probably after some abuse when Inter lost to
Napoli last week and also during this game as they jeered his mistakes.

that Portsmouth have been the second most disappointing side this season (second only to
Tottenham). Now, with Tony Adams out the door and countless stars sold, Portsmouth need a hero.
