There's a door next to Lampard's crotch. ... Sounds about right.
Today's lesson: Always tip your taxi driver well. Upon experiencing your awesome generosity and
overall wonderfulness as a human being, he just might reveal that he's a season ticket holder and
member of the club's gym, where injured players apparently congregate on matchday.

A couple of weeks ago at the MTV Europe Music awards, rockstar Katy Perry turned the West Ham
United Umbro 2009/10 home kit into ultrasexy basque outfit to catch the eye of boyfriend Russell
Brand. Now to cash in on the buzz created by Perry's Hammers attire, West ham United FC is
launching a "limited run" [.

This right here? This sh*t right here? Pfft, blogger please. This is one of the most fiendish, most
diabolical, most ridiculous, most swaggerrifc footie mixtapes ever committed to microchip. Watch
your back Alarazboy...they're gunnin' for your number 1 spot.
Also you might want to use headphones to watch this unless you work at MTV, a jail or the back
office of a strip club.

Many are now familiar with the West Ham United Umbro 2009/10 home kit. However, at last night's MTV
European Music Awards, rocker host Katy Perry donned a new incarnation of the Hammers kit to pay
tribute to boyfriend Russel Brand's favourite soccer team. Katy's West Ham kit consisted of a
corset and tight-fitting shorts.

Remember when a big, live concert broadcast was solely the domain of HBO and MTV? To quote Biggy,
"things done changed".
This Sunday night U2 will broadcast their show at Pasadena's Rose Bowl live and for free on Youtube
so if you didn't have the duckets, desire or luck to score tickets to the 360 Tour this is your
chance to "watch through the fence" so to speak.

You may have read in one of "the trades" this morning that your man SF has messed around and got
himself a job. And despite the fact that it is written on the internet it is actually true: I am
now under the employ of Major League Soccer. I feel like I was relegated and now promoted all in
the span of 3 months.

I've been on a bit of an early Jayhawks kick over the past couple of days. Hearing Jeff Tweedy
sing Pecan Pie the other day reminded me that I got into Wilco and Uncle Tupelo through Tweedy's
involvement in Golden Smog, which I think was before the release of A.M. And I got into Golden Smog
because it also had Louris and Dan Murphy of Soul Asylum.

MLS Rumors 20 July @ 03:49 PM EST
If you thought all the drama of the weekend was going on on the left coast with Beckham facing the
Boo Brigade in LA or 67,000 fans mostly in rave green singing for Sounders FC against one of the
mighty clubs from the EPL you would be wrong.
You see, on the east coast at RFK Stadium, the spiritual home of American Soccer, a fixture of
American U-20 pop culture, now in it's 17th season collided with a storied club now in it's 14th.

You may have heard of Cold War Kids. You may not have heard of Cold War Kids. Regardless you have
to see what they have done with the video for new single "I've Seen Enough". Just (shameless day
job plug) go to MTV.com and start clicking around as you'll figure it out easier than I will ever
explain it.

Many of the lads prefer practice to the actual games. We use a private Small Sided Games facility
perfectly located for Los Angeles. It's a good vibe though sometimes feisty, but all played at 150
miles per hour and so everyone goes home knackered. Viks is knackered but his mind is racing so he
has to polish off a couple of good scotches to chill out.

Like a fish out of water Newcastle striker Michael Owen teamed up with Anastacia to present an
award at the MTV Europe Awards in Liverpool last night. The (occasional) England man came
face-to-face with musical legends Tokio Hotel (who?) to give them their award. He wisely left most
of the talking to Anastacia.

Oh what a beautiful morning, England and the US win by three goals apiece. Firstly, on behalf of
England, may I apologize most insincerely for West Ham season-ticket holder Russell Brand offending
American sensibilities at the MTV Video Music Awards...Get in there, Rus! And at risk of another
consignment of tea being dumped in Boston Harbor, did you perchance note that England smashed

Before I really begin this post let me preface it by saying, "no one is asking". By that
I mean I know that no one is asking me what I think MLS should do in regard to signing players nor
would I ever feign being qualified to tell anyone over there what to look for in a player. I say
this because I don't want this post to come across like one of those that you read on some other
blogs where a guy who's got less access and insight than the janitor at HDC tells you who Chivas
USA should sign, so please don't take it too seriously.

One of STT's main online influences when we started up was the awesome What

an article from them. And what else but Cristiano Ronaldo's seed-spreading tour of LA would they be
commenting on?

I'll admit I've watched a few episodes of "The Hills." It only makes this story more
entertaining to me.
Apparently
Lauren Conrad, aka
LC, made partially famous by MTV reality shows wanted
to get some attention from the Portuguese winger at an L.A. nightclub.
'Lauren approached him and asked for a picture of them to be taken.
