Less than four months after making his U.S. national team debut, German-born goalkeeper David Yelldell has made the jump from Bundesliga 2 to the German Bundelisa after signing with Bayer Leverkusen.

Yelldell enjoyed a strong campaign with Bundesliga 2 side MSV Duisburg, helping the club reach the German Cup finals last season.

If he hasn't already, Clarence Goodson appears to be cementing a starting spot for Brondby IF.

Goodson started his second game of the season for Brondby on Monday, and he helped the club shutout Randers FC, 4-0, with a 90-minute performance.

The US National Team is gearing up for the Gold Cup this summer, and they are trying to find the right mix of players for the Gold Cup by using the upcoming friendlies against Argentina (yep, that Messi guy is really good), and Paraguay. The first friendly is this Saturday, March 26th at 7:30 PM (CST).

United States National Team coach Bob Bradley released his roster for the Argentina and Paraguay friendlies. "This is an important opportunity to get our core group together along with some relatively newer faces as we consider the roster decisions for the Gold Cup this summer," Bradley said. "We have not had these players together for quite some time, so this is a great chance to get in a solid week of training and then face two quality opponents in Argentina and Paraguay.

When Clint Dempsey steps onto the field for Fulham on Saturday, he'll be looking to make history by becoming the American with most goals scored in a Premiership campaign. There's only one problem, though.

Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard lead a veteran group of players called in by U.S. national team head coach Bob Bradley for upcoming friendlies against Argentina (March 26th) and Paraguay (March 29th).

A full-strength USMNT squad will be featured for the first time since the United States lost to Ghana in last summer's World Cup.

Bradley has named a strong squad with all the U.S. stars who are playing overseas, coming back for the game. The biggest impact of the "imports" will be felt in midfield where eight of the nine players in the U.

If Eddie Johnson is to end his nine-month scoring drought this weekend, he'll have to do so against a fellow American.

Johnson and cellar-dwellers Preston North End face Hull City and Brad Guzan, who will look to record his third cleansheet for the club.

David Yelldell and MSV Duisburg fought back from a one-goal halftime deficit to earn a point one the road in the final minutes against 1860 Munich in a game which also saw American youngster Bobby Wood make his professional debut for the hosts as a second-half substitute.

Edson Buddle scored a goal in his Ingolstadt debut today. Unfortunately his team which is in desperate need of some wins gave up a late goal, and were only able to walk away from the match with a point.

Several players in the Americans Abroad contingent will be looking to make debuts with their respective new clubs.

Jermaine Jones is one of those players, and he'll look to start for Blackburn when it faces West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
