According to this article on Honduras's Diaz website, the Colorado Rapids defender will be the
newest signing of Honduran power, CD Motagua. Motagua are doing some major changes after recently
releasing 14 out of 22 players they had this last season. Guerrero would be the 7th new signing.

Amado Guevara volverá al Toronto FC en Marzo próximo para comenzar la

Amado Guevara llegó a principios de temporada a un aproblemado Toronto FC (de
cinco partidos jugados no habían ganado ninguno).
El volante hondureño -que alguna vez fuera nombrado el "Jugador Más Valioso" en
la Major League Soccer- no se demoró mucho en cambiarle la cara al equipo y bajo su

The United-Revolution game has to be the best of the trio, featuring on-fire DC (37), who has won 3

Three North American Clubs will take part in the Copa Sudamericana, a UEFA Cup of sorts for South
America. Chivas de Guadalajara and San Luis of Mexico both qualify as the best two teams from
Clausura 2008 that did not qualify for this season's Champions League, and Motagua of Honduras
which qualified via the 2008 CONCACAF Champion's Cup.

Honduras released its list of players it will use against Mexico on Aug. 20 in a World Cup
qualifier.
The list includes a pair of MLS players in Amado Guevara and Ivan Guerrero.
Honduras and Mexico played a memorable game in Azteca, of course. Back in November 2001 Honduras
needed a win to get into the 2002 World Cup and knock Mexico out in the process but that didn't
happen as Mexico won 3-0 behind goals from Francisco Palencia and Cuauhtemoc Blanco.

Arsenal and Motagua of Honduras, offering both young striker Georgie Welcome, and
his cousin, Shannel Welcome, a five day trial with the Red Bulls.

The bracket is set. The early season play kicks up again for DC United and the Houston Dynamo next
March in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. According to this bracket on the CONCACAF Web site, DC will
play Harbour View (Jamaica) and Houston will face Municipal (Guatemala) in the quarterfinals of the
Champions' Cup.
