El uruguayo Robert Dante Siboldi será el técnico
de los Dorados para el torneo Clausura 2012 de la Liga de Ascenso.
Siboldi ha sido técnico del Cruz Azul Hidalgo
durante varios torneos en esta Liga de Ascenso y actualmente se encuentra trabajando con los
Rayados de Monterrey y en cuanto termine con el compromiso del Mundial de Clubes
donde participa el equipo regiomontano, se reportará a Los Dorados, mientras
tanto los trabajos de pretemporada estarán a cargo de sus auxiliares Jorge
Castañeda y Francisco Palacios.

LA Galaxy's Juninho scores a fantastic goal as the Galaxy beat Honduran side Motagua in the
CONCACAF Champions League and advance to the quarter finals stage.
A year ago the Galaxy couldn't get out of the CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round.
Now they're in the knockout stage.
Winless Honduran team Motugua meekly surrendered to the Galaxy 1-0 Tuesday as LA topped their
group behind another trademark Juninho long-range bomb to reach the CONCACAF Champions League
quarterfinals.

It is hard to believe but also pretty damn cool to think we could very well have four Major
League Soccer clubs in the knockout stage of the CONCACAF Champions League. We already have one in
the Seattle Sounders and after this week we could have three more.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings the last games of the CONCACAF Group stage rounds will
be played. With only one game remaining for each team, only two clubs, the Seattle Sounders and
Mexico's Santos Laguna, have clinched advancement to the elimination round, while only two other
sides, CD Motagua of Honduras and Costa Rica's [.

CARSON, Calif.-- An own goal proved decisive as the Los Angeles Galaxy continued their pursuit
of the Supporters Shield by overcoming their first halftime deficit of the season in a 2-1 victory
over Real Salt Lake.
RSL was able to put the Galaxy on their heels in the 45th minute when Fabian Espindola opened
the scoring, but a goal by Chad Barrett and an own goal by RSL's Nat Borchers gave the Galaxy the
victory.

Things seemed to be slipping away for the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Playing its first two matches in CONCACAF Champions League group play at home, the Los Angeles
Galaxy looked for the three points in both matches.

Playing in what is considered to be the toughest of the four groups of the tournament, the
Galaxy look to be in a very good position to advance out of Group A after its latest 2-0 win, this
one over Costa Rican superpower LD Alajuelense 2-0 at the Home Depot Center on Thursday night.

It wasn't always easy, but the Los Angeles Galaxy picked up their second victory in the CONCACAF
Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Costa Rican side Alajuelense.
Omar Gonzalez gave the Galaxy their first goal in the 38th minute of play before Chad Barrett
added the dagger in the 78th minute.
The Los Angeles Galaxy will try to move into sole possession of first place in CONCACAF
Champions League Group A with a win against Costa Rican side Alajualense (10pm, Fox Soccer
Channel).
The Galaxy opened group play with a convincing 2-0 victory against Motagua, and can open up a
three-point gap atop what is considered the toughest group in this Champions League.
Fresh off its 1-0 win over its archrival San Jose Earthquakes that saw it's newest star, Robbie
Keane score its his debut, the Los Angeles Galaxy now resumes its quest to advance in CONCACAF
Champions League Play when they host Costa Rican superpower LD Alajuelense at the Home Depot
Center.
The two teams head into its matchup tied for first in Group A.

Two MLS teams begin their quest for CONCACAF Champions League glory as the Seattle Sounders and
Los Angeles Galaxy kick off group play. The Galaxy, who face Motagua in their opener, are in Group
A, which has all of its teams in action tonight; Seattle, meanwhile, is stationed in Group D, where
it will look to get a leg up on Comunicaciones in one if its three home matches during the group
stage.
With the group stage of the Champions League starting up this week, it's time to write some
previews of the four groups. This post will focus on Groups A and B. A preview of Groups C and D
will come tonight or early tomorrow. Group A: Los Angeles Galaxy, Alajuelense, Motagua, Morelia The
last time the LA Galaxy participated in the Champions League, they were humiliated at home by the
Puerto Rico Islanders in a preliminary round tie.
According to reports throughout the media in both the UK and the United States, Tottenham
Hotspur striker Robbie Keane is closing in on a £3 million transfer to Major League Soccer club
Los Angeles Galaxy.
Keane has been looking to secure a move away from White Hart Lane due to being surplus to Harry
Redknapp's requirements and with the MLS transfer window closing 9pm Pacific Time, it appears that
the Irishman has just met the deadline.
