There's never a Bulldog handy when you need one.All on the beach in Monaco I expect. The JimmyG2 Column And MOM ( Mammal of the Match) goes to .....the cat. Good movement, ran the channel well, certainly had an eye for goal, and flummoxed Friedel twice in the space of 20 seconds which is more than Liverpool did.

Guh. Read Martin's preview to be cheered up. (He almost completely ignores our big loss. Glosses over, I guess you could say.)

Last season Ramsey scored a late goal to win this for us 1-0. Here's a picture of that goal for some inspiration:

Could history repeat itself?

Could do.

This just in: The U.S. WNT spends lots of time in airports. Here the squad waits for its flight to Canada.
Easy travel day for the U.S. WNT today. Relatively short flight from LA (not sure how long, but it's whatever is the length of Moneyball+ a short nap. Also, the WNT Blog maintains that Brad Pitt is underrated as an actor), into the same time zone and they players had time to get a weight workout in the morning and get into Vancouver in time for dinner in the evening.

Remember Afroman's "Because I Got High"? Much like Alanis Morrisette's "You Outta Know" it was one of those rare late 90s/early 2000s pop songs that managed to sneak a blatant oral sex reference onto America's most mom-approved radio stations. Subsequently, many of us experienced that awkward moment where you are in a small confined space (i.

Recruiting, Heath and finally, his final regular season home game scheduled for this Sunday. If you want to understand the first two, you owe it to yourself to attend the "Legacy Game" between Missouri State and SIUE at 6:00 pm Sunday.

Of all the moments in the surreal, simultaneously compelling and slightly sickening Manchester City vs. Manchester United game today, there is one that will probably stay rooted in our imaginations for at least a little while: Balotelli's cheeky question: "Why Always Me?" after his first goal. Like the most conversation-worthy and striking moments in football, this one is fascinating because it seems at once funny and irritating, appropriate and trangressive.

They say that one of the best coaches in the world is watching high level games and players. If that's the case, Rylie Rampone, daughter of U.S. captain Christie Rampone has had some incredible coaching over her five years as she has attended countless Women's National Team matches and practices.
Of course, most of the time she was picking flowers, munching on snacks, napping, playing with toys in suites, playing video games on an iPad or watching videos and cartoons on her portable video player.

More rain fell today, but thankfully most of the U.S. WNT training was spared of the wet stuff. Still, the rain that fell overnight made the pitch quite soggy and the goalkeepers certainly got a bit muddy. That's ok, though, they enjoy that.

Defender Brittany Taylor (above left) did buy a pair of slippers for her boyfriend (whoops, we hope that's not a surprise), but most players kept their yuan in their pockets.
