Just when I had considered giving up on Father Christmas altogether, he fills my stocking with
dropped points by all of Chelski, l'Arse, Liverpool and even Man City. And – and - he
even un-twinges VDV's hamstring. I'm not sure there has ever been a Christmas quite like it.
No reason not to expect another high-class performance, missed chances a-plenty and ultimately
three more points tonight.
Liverpool 1 Blackburn Rovers 1: match report
Blackburn manager Steve Kean earns some welcome respite from his own club's hate mob with a
precious point.

Good afternoon. Its derby week of course and what a build up its been so far. The other mob has
been talking themselves up at every opportunity, just begging for attention while Victory are
taking a very levelheaded approach. Its quite different from what we've seen in the past but its
good to see the
Why reality TV-style fan voting will get refs to stop thinking of their image and start
doing their jobs
We all know that football fans when whipped into a mob frenzy can take banality to frightening
heights. Sustained cancerous abuse is yelled at players, yet if the subject reacts, they cry to the
police about the psychological damage visited on the child who's sat next to them troughout their
bile-fest.
How can anyone dare to question the abilities of my favourite Satay House fan Benoît Pierre
David Assou-Ekotto? Not to be confused with the wife and child killing wrestler Chris Benoit,
Assou-Ekotto has been one of our best players this season as far as I'm concerned. That is in
addition to having the world's biggest head of hair and saying 'lol satay house' on the majority of
his tweets.
Poor Steve Bruce is a victim of geography
Football management is a bit like ancient Rome. Once the mob turn against you, then it's only a
matter of time before some little Caesar in the boardroom gives you the down turned thumb. Steve
Bruce didn't stand a chance when he took over at Sunderland because he's a Geordie.

Even Damien Duff can't believe what he saw. No sneaky handballs. No dodgy refereeing decisions.
Just delicious, organic, line-caught wild Alaskan qualification.
Thanks to their stonking 4-0 first-leg victory in Talinn, the Republic of Ireland breezed
their way unencumbered past Estonia with a 1-1 draw in the return-leg in Dublin last night enough
to see Ireland emerge from the play-offs with a 5-1 aggregate winning margin and a spot in the pots
for Euro 2012 safely tucked under their belts.
Sampdoria thought it had left the Wild West of Campania behind when the players boarded the plane
to Liguria; the in-flight meal a digestion of the 4-2 thrashing meted out by Nocerina. But after
arrival, when passing through the Christopher Columbus Airport they were met not by smiling wives
and girlfriends, but an aggressive mob intent on violence.
It has been a rough old season but recently things seem to be smoothing out. Seven wins in eight
and sitting top of our Champions League group shows that the tide may just be starting to turn,
momentum has been gathered ready for the clash with a wounded Chelsea next Saturday lunchtime.
Of course, the failings of this current Arsenal side are still there but as a team, the quality
of football is far higher than it was just a few weeks ago.
Nice to see Man Utd getting hammered at home by mega-rich Man City today.
A 6-1 defeat is as bad as it gets for Ferguson's mob.
While it has belatedly softened the abject disappointment of the 1-1 draw with Norwich City, it
does not disguise the glaringly obvious decencies in our team.
Ever since we saw David Santon race down the touchline with Sammy Ameobi and mob Jonas
Gutierrez, after Jonas scored that wonderful goal at Molineaux a few weeks ago, we've taken a
shining to the young Italian. Davide Santon seems to just love Newcastle And it seems that
Davide has settled so quickly on Tyneside, that his parents have now returned to Italy, earlier
than first planned, [.

The mob who are gunning for the last bastion of fair play in the English game are not the
traditional bogeymen, the sheiks, the Russian oligarchs or the hated Glazers.

It was widely believed that nothing could out incompetence the previous regime at the Indonesian FA
but the new mob are doing their damnedest. Days after announcing clubs like Persis were among the
most professionally run in the country they decided to keep the league as it began last season,
promote the four clubs who got promoted, reinstate the three clubs who quit mid season, promote the
only team who got relegated and promote two other teams because they were big clubs!
Strikers fans made the trip to St Pete to support their team only to be disappointed by a 2-0 loss.
The Strikers played well, dominating certain moments of the game but the turning point was the red
card given to Cristian Arrieta. It was enough to change the tide and give Tampa an advantage that
proved too much for the Red & Gold.
Hi folks,
Welcome back to the blog.
It's pretty clear what will be the gimmick of Perth Glory's new advertising campaign, thanks to a
couple of things released by the club this week.
The first photograph shows what's underneath the "No Guts, No Glory" purple shirt, while the
"leaked" CCTV footage also shows people with shirts on their head.
(An early preview, as I'm off on a fresh gallivant this weekend). An air of equanimity
has pervaded AANP Towers these last few weeks, even as Wellbeck, Dzeko et al were rippling
our net from all angles, for those openers were two games from which few if any points could be
expected.
The full roster of players has now arrived in Belgium. All 20 players trained this morning but not
before a late dash to the field by Kyle Beckerman! Kyle arrived on the overnight flight and went
straight from the airport to the training pitch. A set of gear was waiting for him, and once he dug
his boots out of his suitcase he was good to go.
The Strikers played a poor game versus rivals FC Tampa this past Saturday in front of about 3700
fans that came out to enjoy a great pre-game atmosphere thanks to over 15 Miami Food trucks. As
usual the supporters started their tailgate early and even created a TIFO poking fun at FC Tampa
aka Rowdies.
Really can't say that this was not coming. However, there is a good chance the rest of the
fixtures will start on time.
Here is football's role in quelling the orgy of violence and looting. I think the stars on each
football team and their managers should come out with public service announcements appealing for
calm.
What are the odds Fab and Nasri will stay at Arsenal? Derek McGovern's Bets of the
Day
Arsene Wenger is furious at Roberto Mancini for showing him no respect in the pursuit of Samir
Nasri. "The Eyetie's been dissing me," I think his exact words were. Everyone bar Wenger knows the
little Frenchman is on his way to Manchester City – it's just a matter of when and Wenger would
need a magic quand to stop it.
For the most part this site is resolutely non-partisan, shying away from inflammatory articles and
the bilious, monosyllabic responses they attract from spittle-flecked, talkSPORT-listening
meatheads in favour of carefully considered argument and reasonable, civil debate. In fact, the
only thing that seems to get the eminently agreeable Lanterne Rouge hot under the collar is a

In MUA#12 we said goodbye to the traitor that is Ignacio Rodriguez-Argote. Ignacio is leaving his
position as Strikers Media Relations & PR Manager and heading off to work for the hated Puerto Rico
Islanders.
Ignacio has been a friend to the Miami Ultras but that all came to an end on this episode of Miami
Ultras Alive.

Ahead of Saturday's game in Vancouver, Kevin Kinkead presents another excellent scouting
report.
In the Goal.com head-to-head preview, the Philly guy sees the Union winning 2-1, the Vancouver
sees the Whitecaps winning 2-1. The sport betting website SBRforum.com predicts a 2–1 win for the
Union.
I did an update about the friendly schedule just a couple days ago, but it looks like we may
have a new addition already. While I have not seen anything about this match in the English press
or from the Bolton side of things, the official Twitter account of American club FC Tampa Bay
announced yesterday that a friendly with Bolton would happen mid-July.

Part 1.
Home Crowd – When, oh when, will they learn just how important it is for our
players to have their supporters fully behind them? Our home crowd seem to be stuck in the
thinking that the team needs to entertain them in order for them to show their real support,
whereas I believe that if they gave unabashed support throughout the game then maybe the team would
react positively instead of reacting negatively to the silence followed by moans and groans and
boos.

London--Manchester United versus FC Barcelona, meeting at Wembley for the 2011 UEFA Champions
League final.]
Suicidal tendencies?
Manchester United is a cunning team who play a vintage 4-4-2 formation and, when focused, do
well controlling games against big teams, as with their three recent wins against Chelsea, a side
who always used to kill them.

In which Chelsea mob Nicolas Anelka, Branislav Ivanovic, Paulo Ferreira and David Luiz partake
in a huge game of footballing Space Invaders during the middle of the night in an abandoned
warehouse somewhere in Battersea.
Why? Lord alone knows, though sponsors 188BET did vow to donate the £1,500 prize money to the
eventual winner's charity of choice.
It was to be the biggest game of the year for the Strikers this past Saturday but Mother Nature
decided it was not going to happen. The Tailgate was a success! Tons of fans arrived at Lockhart
Stadium early to witness the wonderful giveaways and booths offering a myriad of products and
gadgets.
The visiting Supporters group Ralph's Mob was greeted in their section by a little surprise that
was snuck into the Stadium courtesy of South Florida United (The United Supporters Groups
consisting of the Miami Ultras, Flight 19, CSE and others)
Following are pictures of the events prior and during our wait for the match:
Miami Ultras AliveIf you didn't get a chance be sure to check out Miami Ultras Alive part 6.
By Pieter Brown - Saturdays epic Strikers vs. Rowdies game that was going to be played in front of
a huge crowd was rained out. The game was delayed over and over and over again until well after
10pm when they finally postponed, but don't blame it on the Strikers, blame it on the rain.
Rain poured down as most fans sought refuge under the grandstand, but not the Miami Ultras.
Grant WahlLet the Americanization of FIFA begin.Wahl, author and journalist for Sports Illustrated, penetrated deep into internal FIFA politics
during his run for President of the organization. He has written an excellent account of his
attempts to convince various countries to represent them as candidate for President of Soccer's
world governing body.
This week on Miami Ultras Alive we covered magicJack SC in depth, the highs and lows of the South
Florida WPS team. Owner Dan Borislow is doing things his way like or not and we discussed.
A major FIFA Beach Soccer tournament happened in Miami this past weekend and talked with callers
who checked this event.
Hold in their gooners, don't get caught up in the tidal wave of über negativity that now
approaches and encroaches our fan base.
The last few weeks, starting at Wembley, have been hell for us, I quite agree..... I like most
of you have been going mental about it all... swearing, blaming etc etc
Ultimately, win our game in hand and we are only 4 points adrift of top spot.
One down, seven to go - the dream of a run of eight consecutive League wins remains, at least
within this particularly deluded little mind. This afternoon's task will not be easy - Bolton
outdid us on their patch earlier in the season, and in Kevin Davies have precisely the sort of
striker whose presence makes me shudder from my Park Lane vantage point.
By the power of Grayskull. We could do with a win here. There've been some
rather miserable looking clouds drawing in on the followers of Hotspur in recent times and nothing
but the recovery of three points will lead us into the light and on our way again. No use lingering
on the facts now, but it's safe to say that the heady mix of a cup exit and a spectacularly
disappointing end to the transfer window in the space of two days does not a happy yid make.
This kind of looks like it was a good time. Seattle-based, soccer-centric energy drink Golazo had
some party somewhere with 3v3 cage soccer, bike polo and loads of young attractive people; it
reminds me of college but without the drunkenness, student poverty & STD scares.
And speaking of drunkenness Golazo are one of the sponsors for the American Outlaws rally in Las
Vegas on March 4th & 5th.

We don't care if it is only the Carling Cup. We don't care that it is 'only' Ipswich.
It is a chance to play at Wembley and win ourselves a trophy, any trophy apart from the damn
Emirates Cup! We haven't seen anything silver for five years and its time to put a stop to that
before it reaches six.
Miami FC's (Soon to be Strikers) PR Manager Ignacio Rodriguez was on Daniel Feuerstein's
"Feuerstein's Fire Episode #40" yesterday along with FC Tampa fan and Ralph's Mob member Garrett

Following you will be able to listen to it but it starts off talking about the world Cup and the
awarding of the 2022 event in Qatar and the possible changing of the schedule to accommodate the
World Cup to the Winter.
