ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, live, 9 pm). According to Soccer America (I haven't bothered counting) of
the 11 games, 10 will be available on national television five on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, three on
Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Espanol, one on TeleFutura and MLS Cup 2009 on ESPN and
Galavision.

David Beckham is starting it all over again. He's talking to LA Galaxy club
coach and managers about his desire to be loaned out to AC Milan for another season. While
Beckham's last visit to Milan lasted longer than agreed upon, he returned to a team who acted like
they didn't want him back.

On July 23rd, the City Council of Portland, Oregon approved a plan to renovate PGE Park, home of
USL-1 side Portland Timbers. The renovation and expansion of the long-time home of the Timbers was
a point of contention – a requirement if the Timbers were to host MLS games at PGE Park, but one
that required city financing.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter had a few words of advice for the MLS this week. He complained that
other professional players will now follow David Beckham into the MLS because of the timing of its
seasons.

The head coach of the MLS team Toronto FC, has quit today over what he says are personal
reasons. Coach John Carver resignation is effective immediately though nothing will be announced
until after Toronto's game against the Kansas City Wizards on Sunday.
Carver was known as a passionate coach who was openly upset with the MLS for not running a
proper soccer league.

I don't remember being witness to a four minutes like i have tonight watching DC United put Toronto
to the sword so quickly. TFC were on their heals right from the first whistle.Luciano Emilio scored
unnasisted at the 1:20 mark making Toronto's back four especially Marco Velez look like tourists
who had wandered onto the pitch to ask for directions.
