I had every intention of doing this revisit sooner but things happen as you know. Today, we'll
finally wrap up this positional rankings revisit with a look at the forwards.
To recap, here the midfield, defense and keepers.

It has been a couple weeks since I revisited my 2011 positional rankings. I got caught up in the
2011 Expansion Draft lists something I will likely continue on today.
Today, we're looking back at the midfielder rankings.

I am moving on in my look back at my preseason positional rankings. Yesterday we looked at the
keepers, today we're diving into the folks in front of those keepers the defense.
Again these rankings are all about the starters and the depth behind them.

Before the start of the 2011 MLS Season I went through each position and ranked the teams by I
thought would be the best at that position in 2011. With the final week of the season upon us, I
figure it is a good time to go and revisit those rankings and call out where I was spot on and
where I was way off.

US Soccer News Weekly Power Rankings: Real Salt Lake was finally bounced from the top spot this
week as the streaking Los Angeles Galaxy move to the top of the USSN Power Rankings thanks in large
part to a four game win streak. The Seattle Sounders and DC United both jumped four spots this week
while Chivas USA dropped three spots to #12.
The week 8 Power Rankings have been released by MLSSoccer.com and D.C. United come in at number 14,
up two spots from 16th last week.
After a horrible April, United have bounced back with a win and a tie in their last two
outings.
Still hanging around in 5th place in the Eastern Conference with eleven points in nine games, the
Black and Red prepare to face Colorado this Saturday, May 14 at RFK.

Can you believe the season is less than a week away now? Seriously, the preseason is nearly up
and we're finally going to be getting back into some regular season action here. I'm wrapping up my
