Happy Monday to everyone. As all of you who regularly check this space have noticed, there was
no preview/recap up.
The reason for that? I've moved. MLS Offside will be changing shape a little, as the nuances of
life dictate the inability to write for free all the time. For those of you who care, I'm in the
process of trying to establish myself as part of the freelance world, writing for actual money.

I know that many have seen this already, but here are the highlights from Toronto's incredible
performance last night. For those of you unaware, Toronto needed to win by four to pass the
Vancouver Whitecaps and clinch Canada's CONCACAF Champions' League spot. But things didn't start

If you missed last night's games, one made you yawn, check your watch repeatedly, and wonder
when the ref would blow the final whistle. United hops into first place all by themselves, with a
chance to extend that lead against Toronto FC on Saturday. The Wizards did well to equalize, but in
truth it was a rather unforgettable 90 minutes of footie.

That was a much different game than I was expecting. Robbie Findley who I think will make a run for
the national team one day was on form, but needs to thank Will Hesmer for gifting him two goals.
That aside, it could have been much worse than the final 4-1 score if [...]
