After a red-hot start to the season, Jozy Altidore had lost his starting role for AZ Alkmaar and was mired in a bit of a scoring slump.

At the very least, that slump is now over.

Chivas USA was ready to win a second straight game and hand Sporting Kansas City its first ever loss at Livestrong Sporting Park.

That was until Zarek Valentin made a rookie mistake in stoppage time that Omar Bravo capitalized on.

After a long ball was sent into the penalty area, Valentin mis-hit a clearance and Bravo headed it home in the 92nd minute to help Sporting Kansas City earn a 1-1 draw with Chivas USA.

Valencia managed to pick up the three points in a dramatic fashion against Champions League spot rivals Espanyol at the Mestalla. Aritz Aduriz opened the scoring for host in the first half and Ricardo Costa put one in his own net to draw the game level.
