I've updated my calendars for the area teams I'll be tracking this season. All of the teams are
in action this weekend and there are some interesting games on tap. Here are the current schedules
for the Labor Day weekend. Check the schools website to be certain before heading out during this
weekends weather.

program
Ludwig, the Lady Bulldogs' other captain, wasn't sure at first whether she would play soccer in
college at all. What sold her on joining the Missouri S&T roster were her future teammates, she

APPROVING EYE OF BORO' BOSS RUDY FUNK.

Firstly let me say sorry to disappoint folks but there are no reports from the two games I attended
today. The reason being is simple enough and that is I could not be bothered as I was more

As we dip our toes into the crowded holiday slate of games in the English Premier League, it's
fairly clear the powers running the league figure that the players have the same super-human,
tireless, work ethic as the elves in Santa's workshop.The slight irony here, is that in the early

The non-league season is into its closing stages now, and this week's videos come from the Blue
Square Premier, the Blue Square South, Division One Central of the Southern League and the
semi-finals of the FA Vase. Our first match comes form the dog-fight to avoid relegation from the
Blue Square Premier, and is between AFC Telford United and Darlington, and we follow this up with
the match between Forest Green Rovers and Barrow.
Unable to make the trip to Parkgate, I decided to go to the Pickering Town v Stavely Miners
Welfare game at a sunny Pickering FC. The sun may have been shining, but it was the only thing to shine as this was a dour game of
football played out by two mediocre teams with little passing ability.

Again yours truly is down at Oadby for the second consecutive Saturday for this top of the table
clash against the free scoring league leaders from Derbyshire.

back in 1904 and all.

Luke FletcherMidfielder Luke Fletcher has become the latest
acquisition for Scarborough Athletic. Luke has joined us from Stavely Miners Welfare, he had joined Welfare from Parkgate at the start
of this season. Luke is 25 years of age and actually played against Boro in the opening game of the season.

opportunity to untangle it Last weekend I went to Liverpool – the place that was my home for most
of my adult life.
Realising belatedly that the new season was quite nearly upon us, Tea and Crumpets panicked,
packed our bags, and rushed off in the general direction of Sunderland in order to get the local
take on the club, their squad, and what we could expect to see come matchday. Luckily for us, we
found a willing conversation partner in the Roker Report's Simon Walsh.
A difficult Saturday afternoon for Cowdenbeath, shipping three goals and losing their derby with
Raith inside the first half hour.
There have been better times though.

This game just about summed up Boro's season so far, as they again tasted a defeat on the road,
this time against Nostell Miners Welfare, despite dominating a vast majority of the game.There were
two changes from the victory over Arnold Town; Brenton Leister came in for the departed Nathan
Hotte, and Bill Law played due to Richard Dunning being stuck in traffic.
