A bitter sweet week for Roger Espinoza and Wigan Athletic. On Saturday, Wigan pulled off a huge upset of Manchester City and won the FA Cup for the club's first silverware. Espinoza became only the second player to win the US Open Cup and FA Cup after Freddie Ljunberg. Unfortunately 3 days later Wigan hit a low as they were relegated from the Premier League and will be playing in the Championship next season.
Sporting KC's on loan striker, Dom Dwyer had a very good week. He scored a hattrick in Orlando's big 7-2 win over Antigua and was named the USL-Pro player of the week for this past week. It was a bitter sweet one for Roger Espinoza. Espinoza getting his first start in a few months scored the first goal of the game for Wigan, but it wasn't enough as they sank deeper into relegation trouble with a 3-2 loss to Swansea.
It looks like Luke Sassano is moving on with a career outside of his playing days. The former Sporting KC player has been named the New York Cosmos assistant technical director, working with one of the biggest villains in Wizards history, Alecko Eskandarian. Here's the rest of this week's update.
Active without a club or unknown
Davy Arnaud - Montreal - Started and played 90 minutes in Montreal's 2-0 win over Chicago.
In his debut for Spartak Moscow, Yura Movsisyan scored himself a hattrick, in Moscow's 3-1 in win their first game back from winter break. Check out the highlights below. Also, Milos Stojcev has a new club moving to Bosnia to play with Leotar. Here's the rest of this week's update.

Another week of former SKC Wizards updates. Two new former players are on the list Michal Mravec is
playing in the Dutch second division, while Milos Stojcev is playing for FC Akzhayik, the league
leaders in Kazakhstan. In fact, Stojcev scored on the weekend. Also active this week, was Yura
Movsisyan, who scored 3 goals in two games this week.
Here are your stats for Monday.
Luke Sassano scored his first ever MLS goal.
Aurelien Collin's goal was his first MLS league goal.
Milos Stojcev's red card was KC's 5th of the season, they had only 4 all of last year.
Matt Besler made his 50th league appearance for KC, he's the 38th player to hit that mark for KC.
Another away game, another 3 goals given up, and another red card. These are things that are
becoming way to common when talking about the Wizards games. The only difference with this game
from the previous is the fact Sporting KC played solid for most of the game. For the first time I
don't feel like SKC beat themselves in this game.
The weather might not have been the best for a game, but it would be hard to blame the poor play
from both teams solely on that. The Crew showed why they have only scored 4 goals the entire
season. And the Wizards showed why they have given up more goals than any other team.
Vermes decided after the embarrassment in Vancouver that he would go with the exact same line up
for this game.
A 10 game road trip is not an ideal way to start a season! But, the Wizards scheduled this on
their own. They knew they would have to travel to some hostile environments and need to get
points pick up points in order to avoid falling too far back in the standings. After picking up 3
points against Chivas and almost stealing a point against Chicago while playing down a man I
expected a positive result from the trip to Vancouver.
Sporting KC continued to fill their roster today as they announced the signing of 24 year old
Montenegrin midfielder, Milos Stojcev. In the preseason games that he's played in he seems to be
playing a more of an attacking midfielder. Stojcev came up through Red Star Belgrade's youth
system, but never appeared for the first team.

Sporting KC made 4 more roster moves today, waiving four players before today's waiver draft. KC
waived Jeferson, Craig Rocastle, Milos Stojcev, and Scott Lorenz. Jeferson Rocastle, and Stojcev
all three take up international spots that are now open to be used next year.
Before all the news about the Gold Cup and the stadium came out today, Robb Heineman threw out a
little bit of news for Sporting KC fans to start the day. First Heineman tweeted that the team is
expecting to announce the signings of Julio Cesar Santos Correa and Milos Stojcev in the next week
Basically for the entire game tonight, it seemed that Sporting KC never took it out of first gear
as they took care of the Chicago Fire PDL 3-0 tonight out at LiveSTRONG Sporting Park. From the
start KC came out and dictated the early tempo. In the 3rd minute, Teal Bunbury gave KC the only
goal they'd need and to an extent killed the game.
Whether it's the Trialist 1 from the midweek intrasquad scrimmage or a new trialist, there's a new
player on the field for KC in their preseason game against Colorado this morning. He's Montenegrin
left sided midfielder, Milos Stojcev. Stojcev is from Red Star Belgrade's youth system but never
appeared once for the club.
