Following the conclusion of a loan deal to send full-back Vedran Corluka to Bayer Leverkusen for
the remainder of the season, Tottenham Hotspur are set to live up to their expectations of making
significant moves at the eleventh hour.
The 25-year old Corluka's work ethic has been consistently praised by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp
but the Croatia international's playing time was limited this season by the emergence of youngster
Kyle Walker.
The Agent of Juventus winger Milos Krasic agent has reiterated that he wants to leave the club in
the January transfer window. Krasic has been linked with a whole host of clubs over the last couple
of weeks, and as usual, Liverpool's name has been in the mix. Kenny Dalglish's team could
definitely do with another winger, but whether the interest is genuine remains to be seen.
Liverpool have been offered Serbia winger Milos Krasic by Juventus.
Krasic is not wanted by new Juve coach Antonio Conte and the Serie A giants have approached
Liverpool because ex-boss Rafa Benitez showed interest in him.
Juventus have told the Reds they can have Krasic for the £12million they paid CSKA Moscow for him
in 2010.
Eighteen matches into the season and Juventus are undefeated and sitting in first place. Everything
seems rosy red, or pink (like their away shirt), in Turin. While Juventus find themselves in an
ideal situation heading into the second half of the season, their rise to the top has been much due
to their own good work as it has been to many of their rivals' failure to truly assert themselves
as.
With just two weeks of the January transfer window left, Tottenham Hotspur yesterday made their
first signing. Iago Falque's loan from Juventus was made permanent for a fee rumoured to be around
£1.5m. The young Spaniard was immediately sent out on loan to Championship club Southampton.
After stating that he didn't expect any transfer activity at White Hart Lane this month, Spurs
manager Harry Redknapp has indicated that he would welcome a couple of new faces in order to drive
on the club's attempts to cement a top four position at the very least.
Speaking in The Sun, Harry said that anyone coming in would have to be better than the current
players in the squad and he believes that they will be hard to find.
It was interesting reading the other day when I spotted this article in The SUN stating that AVB
will be given a £150 "war chest" from Roman Abramovich to spend in January as he is desperate to
cut the gap to Manchester City and United in the title race.
According to the article, Chelsea are looking at Edison Cavani and Marek Hamsek of Napoli, Milos
Krasic and Gary Cahill.
Trouble is brewing for Andres Villas-Boas and Chelsea after a number of poor performances have
left them out of the title race and raised concerns from players who are willing to quit the club
if their pleas are not addressed.
Truth be said, the longer Villas-Boas stays in charge the worse it gets for Chelsea and as a
matter of fact, he should be replaced as quickly as possible (however unlikely this may be).
Chelsea close on Milos Krasic and Gary Cahill, What the back pages say
Chelsea are attempting to sign Juventus's Milos Krasic in the January transfer window as a
replacement for Nicolas Anelka. Gary Cahill is on the brink of completing his £7m move to Chelsea,
according to Bolton boss Owen Coyle.
An interesting statement recently revealed by Milos Krasic's agent, Dejan Joksimovic, stating
that the wantaway Juventus winger is being seriously monitored by Chelsea.
The agent also stated that his client most likely will leave his current club because he hasn't
been featured in the plan of the Turin giant's new tactician, Antonio Conte.

While the retaining of David Beckham's services remains up in the air for the Los Angeles
Galaxy, five other players saw their contract situations get a lot clearer on Friday.
Sean Franklin and Bryan Jordan re-signed with Los Angeles, while Adam Cristman's option was
picked up, allowing Bruce Arena to keep key parts of the deep squad that won the 2011 MLS Cup and
Supporters' Shield.
The Serie A's Golden Bin nominations have been revealed and i am quite surprised to see who made
the list. Once again Juventus dominates the list with Felipe Melo ( who i thoroughly agree should
be on the list) and Milos Krasic making the cut.
Others who made the list include Luca Toni, Amauri, Diego Milito, Diego Forlan, Mauro Zarate,
Adrian Mutu, Santiago Silva of Fiorentina and Eduardo from Genoa.
Reports are coming in that the Italian giants Juventus are still intending to make a big bid to
sign Theo Walcott, and are prepared to offer the Serbian International Milos Krasic as part
exchange on the deal. Walcott is currently in the same position as Robin Van Persie with just 18
months left on his [.
With such a settled side and the emergence of players such as Kyle Walker and Younes Kaboul, it
seems increasingly unlikely that there will be too much transfer activity at White Hart Lane this
January.
Predictably however, that hasn't stopped the rumour mills and there are a couple of interesting
names being touted around today.
by serieaweekly writer Matthew Coccoluto With the international break over, means it's time for the
European domestic leagues including Italian Serie A to get back in action. Juventus will welcome
Palermo on Sunday with the hosts coming off of an extended break. Due to their last game against
Napoli being postponed, it has been an astonishing 21 days since Juventus beat Inter at the San.
In the last year he was one of the best player for Juventus, but the advent of Antonio Conte's
era at Juventus seems to have stopped the rising of Milos Krasic in the club.
When he arrived in Italy in the last year he was received by Juventus fans as the "New Nedved",
both for his role in the field (left wing) and for his moves which are very similar to those of
former Juventus and Lazio player.

Juventus threw away another two points with Genoa scoring a late equalizer in Turin to force a
2-2 draw on Saturday. The Juve supporters must be disappointed with the club's inability to display
a killer instinct in finishing off weaker opponents. The Bianconeri also wasted a number of
opportunities highlighting the lack of scoring touch despite the presence a plethora of attacking
options such as Fabio Quagliarella (did not play versus Genoa), Alessandro Matri (scorer of both of
Juve's goals versus Genoa), Alessandro Del Piero (a late substitute) and Mirko Vučinić (played
but again failed to score).
Reports in the England and Italy are linking Manchester United with a move for Juventus winger
Milos Krasic after the player's agent revealed that the Red Devils have been interested for two
years.
Serbia international Krasic rose to prominence at Russian club CSKA Moscow before sealing a
€15 million move to Turin last summer.

On Friday, Italy will travel to Belgrade to play Serbia in their penultimate Euro 2012
qualification match. The game comes just under a year since the events in Genoa on 12 October 2010
which saw Serbian hooligans forcing the game to be called off, and leading to harsh punishments
being meted out against the Serbian National team.

Juventus announced today the signing of Montenegro international Mirko Vucinic, ending the clubs
long search for an impact striker. The former Roma star will cost the Turin club 15 million euro, a
significantly smaller fee than the club had been willing to pay for their previous targets.

Early last week Thomas Di Benedetto flew into Rome's Fiumicino airport to a fervent reception. Both
media and tifosi alike were eagerly awaiting his arrival and subsequently waited for that watershed
moment when a Serie A club would enter into foreign ownership for the very first time. A week later
and there are still details, diligences and more small print to mull over.

Matchday 30 was pivotal for the scudetto, relegation spots, and the Champions' League positions.
One hero has fallen, another has been revived, and one team is as good as gone. And yes, it's
Bari.
1. Serie A is as tight as ever. 10 games played, 21 goals scored. No team won
by more than two goals.
Milos Krasic and Edinson Cavani were surely two nominees for players of the season by December.
And somehow, by March, a mere three months later, both seem vague shadows of the empirical figures
they once were. Fatigue and form may be an issue for the two attacking players, but unless Napoli
and Juventus figure out how to restore verve to these men sorely lacking it at the present, they
risk losing it all this season.
Ac Milan hit double success this weekend on Serie A as not only they managed to take revenge
over their old rival Juventus, but they also keep their pace in the top of the table and leaving
Inter Milan in second place by eight points before the Nerazzurri played on Sunday.
In a rather tough and tight game, the Rossoneri have their captain Rino Gattuso as an unlikely
hero after his goal in the second half was more than enough to seal the victory for the Red and
Black squad in Turin.
With all of Serie A's top teams failing to secure three points this round, it looked like Juventus
had the chance to jump right back into the race for Champions League qualification. But even their
most inspired performance of 2011 was not enough on the day. Palermo jumped ahead of a lackluster
Juventus with two goals in the first 20 minutes.
Guest writer Michael Morra provides a close look at the Juventus loss to visitors Udinese at the
weekend. Udinese, perhaps the league's most in-form side, traveled to Torino today in hopes of
continuing their January assault on Serie A. Conversely, Juventus was looking to get back on track
and dismiss the thought that they were undergoing yet another mid-season collapse.
