Jordan Henderson is focused on returning Liverpool to Wembley after more than a decade away from
the home of English football.
The Anfield club has not played at the national stadium since losing the 1996 FA Cup final to old
rivals Manchester Unitedcourtesy of Eric Cantona's late goal.
Liverpool has won FA Cups, League Cups and Community Shields in their 15-year Wembley absence, but
all of those successes came at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
Jamie Carragher is determined to help Liverpool to a first appearance at the new Wembley, but
recognises the Carling Cup represents a significant challenge.
A 2-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday night booked Kenny Dalglish's team a place in the semi-finals,
where they could meet Manchester City, Cardiff, or Manchester United, if Sir Alex Ferguson's men
overcome Crystal Palace.
During the final days of Mark Hughes reign at the helm of the Wales national team when the
marvellous win in Helsinki and a fully deserved victory over Italy were a fading memory, Welsh fans
would often travel to games more in hope than expectation. Then John Toshack came and killed
the hope. An inevitable slide down the world rankings ensued with defeats home and away to Russia,
Germany and Finland.
Why complacency is as big a threat to England than Wales on Tuesday
The danger for England on Tuesday is that the memory of such an easy victory at the Millennium
Stadium in March could still be floating around the minds of the squad as it prepares for the
penultimate Euro 2012 qualifier.

probable.
Games are taking place at Wembley, Old Trafford, St James Park, Hampden Park, the Millennium
Stadium and Coventry's Ricoh Arena between July 25th and August 11th 2012.
Liverpool are ready to splash out £32 million on Charlie Adam, Ashley Young and Jeffren to help
re-shape their midfield this summer, reports caughtoffside.com.
The 25-year-old Adam was on the verge of a move to Kenny Dalglish's side in the January transfer
window, but Blackpool decided to keep hold of the winger as they look to retain their Barclays
Premier League status.
Steven Gerrard is hoping to make his return from a groin injury in Liverpool's next game against
West Bromwich Albion.
The midfielder underwent a groin operation earlier in March and was initially expected to be
sidelined for a month.
The injury forced Gerrard to miss England's Euro 2012 qualifying win over Wales on Saturday, but he
is ahead of schedule in his recovery.

just seen as a mere sideshow to the main event for many gooners..

The Millennium Stadium has played host to some classic English domestic cup finals over the
years while the old Wembley was being rebuilt, and England will have to tame the dragons when they
clash in a crucial Euro 2012 Qualifier tomorrow.
Some fans will probably be bemoaning the break from the Premier League this weekend, but there
is so much at stake.
No doubt tomorrow at some stage John Terry will be jeered and booed by members of the crowd at the
Millennium Stadium as England take on Wales tomorrow. We may even hear a section of the England
fans doing it too but for all the negative press he has received, for all the ex players who have
waded in with their "valued" opinions about reinstalling John Terry as England Captain it's nice to
hear from someone within the camp who has nothing to do with Chelsea, speaking of the man that
Terry is.

Gary Speed has ordered his players to learn the Welsh national anthem ahead of Saturday's European
Championship qualifier against England at the Millennium Stadium. The new Wales manager has
recruited Courtenay Hamilton, the classically trained opera singer and current Miss Wales, to
inspire his players.
Wales' European Championship clash with England on Saturday has a frisson to it which most
international matches between a major footballing nation and one which has failed to qualify for a
finals tournament for over half a century fail to generate. This is of course owing to a fierce
local rivalry engendered by centuries of cultural and historical struggle between the two countries
which helps to foster a healthy sporting rivalry.
Glen Johnson is confident Liverpool team-mate Andy Carroll is ready to make an impact on the
international scene for England.
The most expensive British player in history made his England debut against France last November
and is expected to lead the line in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales.
Fabio Capello says he will wait until after the weekend's action before deciding whether to call up
Andy Carroll for England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales.
Striking ace Carroll, who made his debut for his country against France at Wembley in November, is
expected to start for Liverpool at Sunderland on Sunday after shrugging off injury problems which
have hindered his chances of an immediate impact at Anfield.
Published reports this morning say that Fabio Capello is considering giving the England
captaincy back to John Terry for this month's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales and beyond.
Discussions are said to have already taken place within the FA over what is certain to be a
hotly-debated issue.
