Today, US Soccer came out with their list of candidates available for selection to the US Soccer
Hall of Fame. On that list are two current coaches of Sporting KC. Head coach and technical
director, Peter Vermes is on the list again, as is assistant coach, Kerry Zavagnin, in his first
year of eligibility.

Philly Soccer Page writer Adam Cann recently spoke with Montreal Impact coach Jesse Marsh.
In their conversation, Marsch talked about the many variables to consider when deciding who to
select in the Expansion Draft, as well as the club's vision for the future and his role as a
coach.

Faryd Mondragon has resumed his normal training routine on Wednesday for the first time since
breaking a finger on September 3. Peter Nowak said of Mondragon's status at Wednesday's press
conference , "We'll see where we are at the end of the week. We'll find out before we go to
Seattle, but I believe he will travel with us.
Another week of former SKC Wizards updates. Nick Cardenas is still getting looks from the Sporting
KC coaching staff and I'd expect him to be invited to preseason this coming year. Two other former
Wizards have taken coaching jobs under Jesse Marsch with the Montreal Impact. Preston Burpo has
been named the team's goalkeeper coach, while Mike Sorber has joined as an assistant coach.

Former U.S. national team assistant Mike Sorber has joined the coaching staff for the Montreal
Impact, where he'll assist head coach Jesse Marsch when the club makes the leap to MLS next
year.
