Garcia in at Braga and Cristiano out at Pacos

Sporting Braga have found their replacement for recently departed Joao Pereira as they pick up 26 year old Miguel Garcia from Olhanense for $50,000 Euros, Garcia spent the past two seasons in Italy playing for Reggina before returning to Portugal this season. Depois de ter visto o jogo de ontem entre o SC Olhanense e o SL Benfica e de ter ouvido as palavras do meu amigo Jorge Costa no final, fiquei com a sensação de ter visto outro jogo. Admito até que o árbitro tenha cometido vários erros - David Luís deveria também ter recebido um vermelho - o que é uma situação normal num jogo de tal intensidade, no entanto, se há culpados do que se passou e se foram cometidos erros primários, esses têm de ser essencialmente dirigidos aos adeptos e aos jogadores. MMCB: With Miami bid shaky, MLS expansion race is even tougher to predict

There are officially no sure bets in the MLS expansion race. Not after shaky developments out of Spain put the FC Barcelona-backed bid for a Miami team, the top bid in the race, in jeopardy.

So what's the issue now? Barcelona club members have voiced concerns over the team investing a large sum of money in MLS at a time when the global economic crisis is impacting even Barcelona's bottom line.
