The only things worth talking about from the first half were a fantastic Szczesny save in the early minutes (that's quite a nice habit he's developing, even if you do wish we wouldn't allow the chances), a van Persie free kick curled just wide, and a Gervinho shot which whistled not far over the bar.

The least surprising surprise ever Thanks to OTP reader Alan who, like us, is wondering how Frank De Boer can be possibly be surprised that Egyptian striker Mido wants to leave Ajax. This is a guy who has played for 10 clubs in 11 years (and he's played for three of those clubs twice!).
