2009 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Sunday evening.
Thirty-nine conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2009 championship. Three
teams were selected from Pool B, which consists of independent institutions, and institutions that
are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification.

teams facing off for the league championship and a ticket to the NCAA D-III Tournament. The Carlton
men's soccer team played Macalester at Carlton yesterday afternoon, while the women's championship
game was last night and saw the exact same schools matched up.

The 16-0-2 Concordia Cobbers who were rated #7 in the nation were upset this afternoon by the
Carlton Knights (9-5-5) at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
This was the third time in four seasons, the Knights locked up with Concordia College in the
