2009 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Sunday evening.
Thirty-nine conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2009 championship. Three
teams were selected from Pool B, which consists of independent institutions, and institutions that
are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification.

The 16-0-2 Concordia Cobbers who were rated #7 in the nation were upset this afternoon by the
Carlton Knights (9-5-5) at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

collapsed on the field during preseason and almost died. It was a scary moment for both players and
coach Greg Holker. Bowman's parents were also in the stands and knew things were serious. A
horrific moment for any parent player or coach.
