Minnesota D-III Teams Announced for NCAA Soccer Playoffs

The NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Committee announced the field of 59 teams for the 2009 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Sunday evening.

Thirty-nine conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2009 championship. Three teams were selected from Pool B, which consists of independent institutions, and institutions that are members of conferences that do not meet the requirements for automatic qualification.

Jon Lowery named Hamline Men’s Soccer Head Coach

Former MN Thunder goalkeeper, Jon Lowery has been named coach of Hamline Men's Soccer program.  A native of Apple Valley, MN., he led Apple Valley High to a 1992 State title and was the 1994 Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year.
