Unusual court case got underway in London today that could have ramifications on the Premier
League title race as well as the England managerial position.
The government is claiming that Spurs manager Harry Redknapp and former Portsmouth boss Milan
Mandaric used offshore accounts to avoid having to pay income tax on more than £189,000 that he
received from the sale of two players.
On a day, when a jury found Stephen Lawrence's perpetrators guilty of murder in a hate crime
committed 18 years ago following a long convoluted saga which saw landmark reforms of the
Metropolitan Police and the legal process, the stance taken by Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool
disavowing Luis Suarez's undeniable racial abuse towards Patrice Evra stood in stark contrast.
Jose Enrique insists playing twice in 48 hours can be no excuse if Liverpool are knocked out of the
Carling Cup by Chelsea, after manager Kenny Dalglish described the scheduling as
'irresponsible'.
Liverpool drew 1-1 at home with Premier League leaders Manchester City on Sunday and travel to
Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the cup quarter-final on Tuesday.
By now most have heard the reports indicating that the club are investigating a member of our
traveling 'support', who called Danno a 'monkey' during our away fixture to Genk. If you're like
me, then you instinctively hung your head in shame and were bracing for impact. The blowback on
this issue hasn't even fully formed.
Liverpool is embroiled in a furious row with the Football League after being ordered to play their
Carling Cup quarter-final against Chelsea just 48 hours after a key Premier League fixture.
The Merseyside club is unhappy they must travel to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Nov 29, two days
after they face Manchester City at Anfield.

Chelsea have been quick to officially condemn chants about Anton Ferdinand that were sung
persistently by their fans during last night's Champions League tie with Genk in Belgium.
Fans sung 'Anton Ferdinand, you know what you are' repeatedly and with gusto throughout the
night in, let's call it.

There will be a sombre mood in the air at The Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon, as the team
takes to the field for its home league match against Doncaster Rovers. The death of Cardiff City
supporter Michael Dye shortly before the start of Tuesday night's European Championship qualifier
between England and Wales cast am obvious pall over the subsequent discussion of that match and
several articles written in the press about Mr Dye since then have reeked of a sadly all too
familiar insensitivity on the part of a section of the British press.

Over the past couple of days, the biggest story of Wednesday's slate of international friendlies
has quickly shifted from the meaningless matches themselves (which, let's face it, where never a
huge story to begin with) to the England versus Holland game scheduled for Wednesday evening at
London's Wembley Stadium facing the threat of cancellation due to the imminent collapse of western
civilization.
As London burns, the FA has listened to the police and rightly decided to cancel Wednesday's
friendly at Wembley between England and Holland.
An FA statement read:
"Following the events in Greater London, the FA has this morning held discussions with the
Metropolitan Police, the Government and Brent Council.

The FA have offered up yet another poor response to a simple question. Why was Gary Neville
charged with improper conduct and fined after celebrating in front of Liverpool fans when Mario
Balotelli wasn't even given a warning about his future conduct?
Dear Scott,
Thank you for contacting the Football Association.
