Whatever your view of Spurs' deadline day transfer dealings, don't expect Kevin Bond to be
reading any comments after the late captures of Louis Saha and Ryan Nelsen.
Bond did however attempt to ease any disquiet by suggesting that we should all trust Harry and
the players he has brought in.
If soccer becomes more popular with tween girls in the United States it won't be because of Alex
Morgan, Hope Solo, or MLS, it'll be because of Justin Bieber using his fame to hang out with top
international clubs - okay, that fits for when he hung out with Barcelona, considering the state of
Chelsea fans they might argue my calling their club a "top international club.
Yikes. Even though this is one of the more predictable results I don't think I can face going
to the message boards. Anyone watch? What did you think?

Time for a little game, at least...that's the dubious pretense anyway. It's actually just a
thinly-veiled chance for me to show off my incredible, award-winning* MS Paint chops with a bit of
Friday afternoon frippery.
Any road up, please feel free to have a crack at pinpointing the six classic football moments
hand drawn by yours truly on Microsoft's finest or just bask in the glory of the supreme
craftsmanship on show.

NEWCASTLE FAN PERSPECTIVE
By QPR Report Correspondent MaudesFishnChipsMany thanks to St1pe from NUFC-forum.
Average position charts from ESPN. Things to note:
Looks like the team's going for a sort of old school imbalanced back four. This is not
uncommon in football's history, and attacking full-backs are an important part of the game now.
At Barcelona they have a system in which Dani Alves storms forward, whereas the left back is less
progressive and Sergio Busquets drops back while Alves raids.
Dzsenifer out, Conny in. Or at least that's what this says in German. Few things bring me back from
the dead, but how could this one not?
The bad news for Fräulein Pohlers is that she's been talking shit on Sylvia Neid since she wasn't
initially selected way back whenever that happened, and for this reason, I smell disaster waiting
to happen.
In addition to my earlier match report, you may have read in the daily rags that Fuller went over
to a fan and grabbed him round the throat. You may have also read that Corluka called one fan an
idiot after receiving some abuse. The comments and message boards have been alive with people
calling for the FA to dish out Rooney-esq bans to both players.

I'm writing a piece for www.football365.com today about Barcelona which, in essence expresses
how frustrating I find their football; how, though it is technically brilliant, it just doesn't
stir my football passions. I find it quite clinical and cold while admittedly highly skilful.

Last night, Andy Najar, D.C. United's teenage Honduran-American phenom, put the question of which
nation he should represent as an international to the people of Twitter. Considering the timing and
the nonstop speculation over Najar's decision, the query caused what qualifies, in the soccer world
at least, as a mild frenzy.
