After one day of poor weather in Los Angeles, the usual sun has been out for U.S. WNT Training camp and that means we were able to snap a few pics. We can report that, without a match at the end of the camp, the U.S. WNT has been working extra hard through a battery of fitness tests, possession drills, finishing drills and a heck of a lot of playing, whether it be 4 v 4, 6 v 6, 9 v 9 or 11 v.

DU women take a victory over South Alabama Friday, at CIBER FIELD with a final score of DU, 7 and South Alabama 0.

South Alabama (9-3-2, 2-2-1 SBC).
Denver (11-2-0, 5-0-0 SBC).

After 40 minutes of playing, DU scored the first set of goals with in 14 seconds of each other.

While Sporting KC was on the road in Salt Lake, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park was in use by the US women's national team. In their first game since the World Cup this summer, the women drew over 16,000 fans to LSP last night for the first game of their celebration series. The US got the first goal of the game off of an Abby Wambach penalty after a hand ball in the box on Canada.

For the second-consecutive year, the Hermann Trophy is in the hands of a Zip and a Cardinal.
