Walsall have confirmed that Clayton McDonald will stay at the Banks's Stadium on loan for a
third month.
The 20-year-old Manchester City defender will be available to the Saddlers up to and including
the trip to Millwall on Saturday, 12 December.
McDonald, the son of former Saddlers striker Rod, has made eight appearances since arriving at
the start of September, but has not got onto the field since the defeat at MK Dons on 10
October.

There is a growing section of Liverpool fans who believe that sacking Rafa Benitez is the way
forward at the moment. TAF MCDONALD disagrees, and explains why he believes there is no real
possibility that this is going to happen. Before Rafa's future can even realistically be called into question at least two of the following
three things need to happen. Click to continue reading...

In the wake of the controversial anti-spitting campaigns targeting the swine flu, Blackburn
assistant manager Neil MacDonald revealed that Rovers boss Sam Allardyce kept his distance from his
flu-struck squad. Big Sam himself was not feeling too well, and opted to remain in the stands
during Tuesday night's Blackburn match to eliminate the chances of infecting more players.
Ok, so he is not called McDonald but he is Ronald, and after tonight, he will wish he had a
farm
So three years ago, the Mighty Arsenal travelled to the Netherlands to play AZ Alkmaar in a
‘show off game' to mark the opening of the DSB Stadium. Three years have now gone by and tonight
we play them again in what will be their UEFA Champions League debut season.
One of the final weeks of the regular season has come and gone but the goals were definitely
spot on for week 31 in Major League Soccer. Below are some of the best.
Order: George John, Maykel Galindo, Brandon McDonald, Justin Braun, Josh Wolff, Nate Jaqua,
Luciano Emilio, Jim Brennen, and Fabian Espindola.
I see you've caught me staring at the back of the head of a child. I now have a new child of my
own, you know. ... No I didn't steal it from a McDonald's, nor am I pretending a doll is a real
baby again. One of my Berba-beauties actually gave birth to my Berba-baby.
San Jose have pulled level after 21 minutes, former Galaxy defender Brandon McDonald heading
home a Shea Salinas cross from close range, splitting two Chivas USA defenders in the process. A
free kick on the right wing started the move.
One goal and all of a sudden journalists find out he's a great interview. Sean Michelle:
"(Conor) Casey should be worried," [Padula] said jokingly. "We have two games left. I
can score eight (in one) and eight (in the other)." Casey, a striker for Colorado, leads MLS with 17 goals.
In Henry Winter's excellent piece on Carlo Ancelotti for the the Telegraph today, there
is plenty of insight into the man who has Chelsea atop the table with a perfect record and finally
moving on from Jose Mourinho's legacy, and that's all fine and good, but if you've ever wondered to
yourself what Carlo Ancelotti thinks about Florent Malouda and John Obi Mikel's taste in music,
you've finally got an answer:
"I am used to players who are very focused so when I came to England it was a big surprise
because in our dressing room there is music.
This week's Ultimate 11's is Iain McDonald's Dundee United. Now I'll level with you, I'm no fan
of the Scottish game, but Scotchland have given me some cracking moments over the years, David
Narey's stunnning goal againt the mighty Brazil in World Cup 1982, they eventually lost 4-1 which
gave me even more joy.
No, triskaidekaphobia isn't a fear of Greek appetizers, it's actually the fear of the dreaded
unlucky No. 13 something defender Kris Lindsay of Irish club Linfield is discovering first
hand.
Since joining Linfield in 2006 and making the doomed decision to go with the 13 shirt, Lindsay
has suffered six different injuries all of which have been unrelated to each other ("a knee injury,
a hamstring niggle, a neck muscle spasm, calf strain, a broken bone in his hand, concussion and
then he needed stitches after a clash of heads during Saturday's clash with former club
Portadown").
Usually if you are stuck at work on deadline day it can be an immensely frustrating time without
Sky Sports News to keep you upto speed on the latest news, rumours and deals. Today however, if you
missed the deadline coverage, consider yourself fortunate indeed. Today, especially with the deadline being 5pm, transfer deadline day was as damp a squib as the
Twenty20 games at Old Trafford. Click to continue reading...
Not a huge deal in the context of transfer deadline day, but young defender Clayton McDonald has
joined Walsall on loan for a month:
THE SADDLERS have completed the one-month loan signing of giant central defender, Clayton
McDonald from Manchester City.
The 20 year-old, who is the son of former Walsall striker, Rodney McDonald, stands at 6'6" tall
and his progression through the City ranks has seen him skipper the reserves.
Eduardo starts for Arsenal as again, Philippe Senderos is not even on the bench. Aaron Ramsey
joins Arshavin and Van Persie on the bench with Emmanuel Eboue starting his second consecutive game
for the Gunners.

game kicks-off.

I haven't had much time to write lately. Actually, I have had time but haven't felt like
writing. But here I am now so don't give me any crap.
The Dynamo had two games the past few days and managed 3 points with a victory over the Chicago
Fire. They did their best to blow a halftime lead but narrowly managed to avoid disaster.

With just less than a year to go before the 2010 World Cup, Univision the Spanish-speaking
network in the United States has already sold 65% of its advertising inventory, according to
Multichannel News.
Recognizing how massive the TV ratings will be on Univision, major sponsors have already signed

When I moved from one residence to another two weeks ago, I thought I would be able to get my
internet connection up and running in short order. Unfortunately, I had to move during a holiday
weekend, so that pushed the connection date back even further. So I was stuck with net access at
work and WiFi connections at McDonald's. Click to continue reading...
McDonald didn't look like scoring. I would be surprised if he makes it to the World Cup. At best he
is jinxed from scoring in Australia. He got taken off 3/4 into the game. Click to continue reading...
What you're looking at is a picture of Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (left), FFA chairman

A second half stoppage time equalizer extended Real Salt Lake's unbeaten streak to five games in a
rough match with the San Jose Earthquakes at Rio Tinto Stadium on Friday night. Fabian Espindola,
who served a one-game suspension for a red card earlier in the season was sent off after
retaliating against Brandon McDonald. Click to continue reading...
It's been awhile since I posted, so I thought it appropriate to examine the Quakes landscape
through a little tour of the blogs and news out there. Â The Quakes are up against the Stormin'
Mormons tonight (RSL), and need to start picking up some results on the road if we're going to get
anything out of this season.
It could happen, although it will take a combination of results from other games this
weekend.
Perhaps more interesting is the Sol gamble about the timing of its final regular season game:
essentially the club is betting it will draw more kids looking for something to do now school is
out at noon on a summer Wednesday after a holiday weekend than fans at a midweek evening game.
Further evidence that soccer is slowly (very slowly) creeping into the mainstream is the Real Salt
Lake (MLS) - Jet Blue sponsor deal. As part of Jet Blue's partnership with RSL, they have given one
of their jets a RSL livery. This is exactly the kind of exposure that soccer needs in the United States. Click to continue reading...
Dear King Franco FC Fans, Have you ever wondered what it was like to have a media liability on your squad? Well wonder no
more! Because thanks to 80 million banknotes soon to be sent Manchester's way, you now have one. I
was reading some soccer related articles, when I was sent these photos from a celebrity gossip
site.
Again it was Kewell who stood out as the player of the match. This time he created a goal for Mile
S. Holman had his chance with Kennedy injured. But neither he nor McDonald looked like scoring. It was
the midfield that excelled. Puncuated by Mile and David Carney's - both from the lower English
division - and by Jason Culina's bicycle kick into the side post (to set-up Carney's poach). Click to continue reading...
