Inter Milan has fired head coach Gian Piero Gasperini after just 5 games in charge. 1 loss in the Italian Super Cup. 1 loss in the UEFA Champions League. 1 tie and 2 losses in Serie A. And no signs that the team was going anywhere but down in each of those games. Its not Gasperini's fault at all.

Boy, folks sure are down on the Columbus Crew these days. Either it is due to their lack of form in the league at the moment, their injury list piling up like a 10-car pileup on the freeway, or it is just due to them being in Columbus.

Connor Senn was an Ohio State soccer player who collapsed and died on the field in 2001. For 9 years, the Crew participated in a memorial match with OSU to raise funds for a scholarship in Senn's name, but they didn't play this year. The reason comes down to a clause in the collective bargaining agreement:
