The Richmond Kickers announced today the five players that D.C. United will send on loan to the USL club: Chris Durkin, Alhaji Kamara, Maxim Tissot, Chris Odoi-Atsem, and Eric Klenofsky. These players will be on indefinite loan, but are eligible for recall at any time.

D.C. United announced today that they signed Canadian defender Maxim Tissot to the club after his successful trial during this preseason. Tissot joins the team after spending the back half of 2016 with the Ottawa Fury (then of the NASL) after being waived by the Montreal Impact.

D.C. United announced today that they've traded an international roster spot for the 2017 season to the Montreal Impact. In exchange, they've acquired $75,000 in general allocation money (GAM). The move leaves United with five international roster spots, four of which are occupied by Julian Buescher, Luciano Acosta, Alhaji Kamara, and Jose Ortiz.

Tissot has impressed so far as a potential backup for Taylor Kemp, and Steve Goff has reported that the team has offered Tissot a contract.

Due to Real Salt Lake's participation in the U.S. Open Cup final on Tuesday, rookie forward Devon Sandoval was given a rare chance to start and he took full advantage of the opportunity.

On the road at the Vancouver Whitecaps, Sandoval's ninth minute goal proved the difference in RSL's 1-0 victory on Saturday.
