Yesterday, MLS released the rules for next week's expansion draft to help Philadelphia select their
first 10 players. We must turn in our list of protected players Monday at 2 p.m. CT. Who do you
think will make the list? Who would you protect?
Last season we lost Tyson Wahl to Seattle. The list of all players we have lost in expansion drafts
is shown below.

We're down to only 2 former Wizards still playing in MLS, as Chris Klein and LA will meet Yura
Movsisyan and Real Salt Lake Sunday in MLS Cup. Still there was more action around the world this
week with FIFA international games being played. Two former Wizards competed with their respective
national teams as both Shavar Thomas and Eddie Johnson played for Jamaica and the US respectively.

The list of former Wizards currently playing is getting smaller and smaller as more of the American
team's seasons come to an end. The first round of the MLS playoffs are half over, so next week will
be the end for even more former Wizards.

Chelsea cruised to victory last night as they beat Bolton 4-0. Goals from Kalou (yes he scored
again), Malouda, Deco and Drogba sealed an easy win as Chelsea progress to the League Cup quarter
finals. To be honest it could of been a hat full and apart from the odd attack on goal (which
Hilario will remember from the game more than anything) it was pretty much one sided.

I was unable to watch the game today because I had to write a history essay (though the game
probably would have been just as painful). I've just been reading some reports (as of now no video
is out) and things don't look good do they? Even Gary Megson called us crap and he barely ever does
that (even though we quite often are crap).

So far I haven't been able to find full highlights unfortunately, though I have found a video of
all the goals (you'll have to watch an advert about toothbrushes, but it's worth it). I will admit,
I did not see the match, nor have I been able to watch full highlights (I was playing rugby), so
this report will be a bit of an amalgamation of tidbits I stole form other reports.

Following a 2-2 draw last week against Sunderland and a loss for Chelsea earlier in the day, the
pressure was on Manchester United to perform well. And this is what they exactly did with a
clinical performance against Bolton Wanderers at the Old Trafford. Even though the 2-1 score line

Manchester United took the lead after a Michael Owen header deflected off Zat Knight in to the
back of the net, before Antonio Valencia scored his first United goal to give us a 2-0 lead. Matt
Taylor pulled one back for the visitors, leading to a nervous last ten minutes after squandering
plenty of chances up until that point, but it ended with three points for United and us going back
on top.

So first off many apologies vis-a-vis the lack of match preview. I was in Dallas for a rugby
tournament all weekend (my team is going to nationals!) and I had so much homework Thursday I
couldn't do it (I got an hour and a half of sleep on Thursday). Also I'm aware this is a wee bit
late, but I only got home about an hour ago.

Goal celebration kicks for people with fluorescent vests Matt Taylor got a bit frisky during the
Bolton celebrations on Saturday, and found himself in the crotch of a steward. The steward in
charge of restraining the celebrations showed little sign of personal restraint. Perhaps he should
pick his partners a bit more carefully.
