Continuing the stat updating for you tonight, it's time to update the 10,000 minute club.
In league play one new player joined the 10,000 minute club, as Michael Harrington became the 12th
player for Kansas City, Davy Arnaud also jumped up 1 spot on the list moving ahead of Jimmy Conrad.
Since it'd been a few days without a post I figured I'd give you a second post today as well on
stats. This time it's all competition goal scorers for Sporting KC in their history. First here are
some previous years for you.
1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010
On the list this year we add two new players to the list this season, other than that we see no
movement on the list this year.
More stats to update for you. This time it's the leading scorers in MLS play now through the 2011
season. First here are links back to the previous years.
1996 - 1997 - 1998 - 1999 - 2000 - 2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007 - 2008 - 2009 -
2010
One new player joins the list this year, and another continues to shoot up the list.
Lots of good stats from the game last night, including a landmark goal by Teal Bunbury.
In 6 games at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, this is KC's first win there. It was KC's first win in
Colorado since 6/9/2004 when Josh Wolff scored a 90th minute penalty kick.
Teal Bunbury's two goals were only the 3rd time in team history a KC player has scored multiple
goals in the playoffs, the other two times, Miklos Molnar in 2000 and Davy Arnaud in 2004.
Playoffs feel so good.
Last night was the 12th league win, and 15th in all competitions this year, the most since 2004
when the team had 14 league wins and 20 in all competitions.
Teal Bunbury scored his 14th league goal, breaking his tie with Matt McKeon, Jose Burciaga, Sasha
Victorine, and Claudio Lopez and moving into a tie with Jack Jewsbury for 13th on that list.
Davy Arnaud made his 238th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for the
most appearances in team history in league play.
Peterson Joseph was the 13th player to make their league debut for KC this year, the most debuts in
a season since 21 in the team's inagural season in 1996.

Very Kei Kamara centric for this week's after stats entries, each one retains to the man from
Sierra Leone.
Kei Kamara scored the 800th competitive goal in all competitions for KC.
Kamara also made his 100th MLS league start of his career.
Here are this week's Sunday after stats. Some nice milestones for a few players.
Kei Kamara's goal was his 17th league goal for Sporting KC, that ties him with Eddie Johnson and
Jimmy Conrad for 9th place on that list.
The goal was Kamara's 18th in all competitions, breaking his tie with Johnson, Conrad, and Miklos
Molnar, and moved him into a tie with Matt McKeon for 11th place on that list.
Here are your Thursday After Stats for last night's Open Cup game.
Michael Harrington made his 148th appearance for KC in all competitions, breaking his tie with
Diego Gutierrez for 13th place on that list.
Harrington also made his 11th appearance in all Open Cup competitions, moving him into a tie with
Preki for 4th on that list.
The starting right center back for the Rapids All-Time Team is
Peter Vermes. Alas I could
not find a picture of him in a Rapids kit, so I went with the U.S. kit instead.
How Acquired: Traded Kerry Zavagnin to the NY/NJ Metrostars for him.
Years In Colorado: 1997 through 1999
How Departed: Traded to KC along with Matt McKeon for Scott Vermillion and an allocation.
Here are the stats from yesterday's game.
Aurelien Collin was the 150th player to appear in a competitive game for Sporting KC.
Collin picked up the third red card of the season for KC, they picked up 4 in all of last
season.
Kei Kamara's first goal tonight broken his tie with Igor Simutenkov, Miklos Molnar, and Chris
Henderson for 17th on that list.
Continuing to update my offseason stat information here on the blog. This time I'm updating the

the list, as Josh Wolff hit the 10,000 minute mark in league play, becoming the 11th Wizards player
to hit that mark.
Continuing my stats updating for the 2010 season, here are the top goal scorers in all competitions

There's only one addition to this list goal wise that wasn't on the list from earlier today, and
that's Teal Bunbury's goal in the US Open Cup qualifier against Colorado.
Time to start catching up on all my post season stat information. Here is the list of top scorers
