The Blues might be sitting pretty in position 6 in the football money league rich list but the
truth of the matter is that their financial situation is not too good. With a massive debt in
excess of over £1 billion, Chelsea could soon find itself in a very messy situation.
It is also now emerging that Chelsea paid £28 million to sign Andre Villas-Boas from Porto last
summer.

any one Soccer team has ever had in the U.S., mostly play at near capacity or sellouts and is a
contender for a championship this year.
Let me start by saying that I really rate David Villa and he has had a good first season at
Barcelona hasn't he!. I was surprised to read yesterday that Pep Guardiola is "reportedly" looking
at having to offload Villa in order to finance moves for players he wants to bring into
Barcelona.
Now I think it's common knowledge that Barcelona have massive debt problems.
