The fallout from the Manchester United v Liverpool hate-fuelled game yesterday continues. It has
been revealed that yesterday morning Police swooped to confiscate every copy of the Manchester
United fanzine Red Issue, which contained a cut-out image of a Luis Suarez Klu Klux Klan mask.
Greater Manchester Police stated that they carried out the action [.
The Greater Manchester Police reportedly confiscated all copies of a Manchester United fanzine
called Red Issue outside of Old Trafford ahead of the big handshake showdown (and football match)
between Man United and Liverpool. The unofficial magazine was deemed "incitement to racial hatred"
for including a cut-out of a KKK mask with the words "LFC" at the top and "Suarez is innocent" at
the bottom in reference to Liverpool's steadfast defense of Luis Suarez even after he was found
guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra and banned for eight matches.

Hull legend Dean Windass has attempted suicide twice in recent days, he has revealed. The Tigers'

Dusting off the cobwebs When Jonas Gutierrez arrived on these shores a few years ago we were

Petr Cech may wear his usual headgear AND a specially-designed mask to protect his broken nose
in the Czech Republic's Euro 2012 play-off tonight. When asked if wearing both would affect his

Sadly, this isn't makeup it's Klaas' broken nose. Tragically, it happened on November 3rd, days
late for Halloween and the most frightening natural makeup this side of Tevez's goal
celebrations.
Of course he also has a custom mask which looks to be made of leather with a snoutish nose and
is emblazoned with Hunter across the forehead, making this easily the best accidental
after-the-fact Halloween ensemble in the history of goal poachers for the Dutch national team who
also once played for De Graafschap.

Just who was that masked man?
Why it's Michael Ballack of course, who took to the field for Bayer Leverkusen against Valencia
looking like some kind of latter-day superhero (the stars on the shoulders are a nice touch) and
even got into the spirit by doling out a bit of vigilante kung-fu justice.

Italian Serie club SSC Napoli has unveiled its highly-anticipated Macron 2011/12 home kit along
with new signing Swiss international Gökhan Inler. The 11/12 Napoli jersey and Inler were
presented via a press conference on a cruise ship Monday that involved Inler wearing the new shirt
and a lion's mask.
Aurelio de Laurentiis, owner of Napoli, would certainly know how to put on a show, being a
Hollywood producer and all.
So when announcing his major new signing, he did just that, putting on a show by having the
"mystery man" don a lion's mask before the jig was up upon revealing the number.

It's a point I've made over and over again in the time I've been writing this blog, but I think
it's worth pointing out this week: you don't win the League by beating your closest rivals. Yes, it
helps. But when the success of your League challenge is predicated on beating Liverpool, Spurs and
Man United in successive games, then something has gone wrong earlier in the season.

It seems that the laws of bloody mindedness mean that when we have an interesting Old Firm game the

U.S. fitness coach Dawn Scott guides Jordan Angeli thorugh the VO2 Max
Today is a day of physical testing for the U.S. WNT. In the morning it was the VO2 max, which saw
every player in camp take their turn on the treadmill in the team hotel. Most players expressed a
bit of awkwardness at wearing the mask necessary for the test, but despite the fact that it looks a
bit funny, the information garnered is extremely valuable to the U.
