Barcelona's Copa del Rey semi-finals win against Real Madrid has been tempered by a growing injury list that will make their clash against Villarreal on Saturday harder.

Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez both limped off in last night's 2-2 draw, which secured a 4-3 aggregate win.

That means Barca will head to El Madrigal missing six players in total, as David Villa, Ibrahim Afellay and Andreu Fontas are already injured, while Seydou Keita is at the African Nations Cup.

Abidal, Kanoute and Marcos Senna top the list of La Liga players who will be available on a free Bosman transfer according to Goal.com.Real Madrid's Ricardo Carvalho was on the list, but the club recently activated a clause that automatically renewed his contract for another season:

In name it's only a friendly but when any world champion rolls up to Wembley everybody watching can be sure it will be anything but. Spain, FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship winners, are rightly considered the best team in contemporary international football. Some even consider this Spanish side to be the best international team that has ever played the game.

Manchester City have received a boost ahead of their Champions' League clash with Villarreal, with the news that the Spanish side will be missing four star players for the game.

Star midfielder Cani was ruled out for up to six weeks after picking up a knee injury in the La Liga game with Rayo Vallecano at the weekend.

Villarreal will be without Cristian Zapata, Cani, Marco Ruben and Marcos Senna for their Group A meeting with Manchester City, while Javier Camuñas is doubtful.

These injuries are in addition to Giuseppe Rossi, who is out for six months, after knee surgery earlier this week.

The most serious of the other injuries appears to be to Zapata, who strained a ligament in his right knee during Saturday's 2-0 Liga win against Rayo Vallecano, an injury which is likely to sideline him for five weeks.
