For the seventh consecutive year, I'm one of the voters for the National Soccer Hall of Fame,
and it's a responsibility I take very seriously. I've made each of my previous six ballots and the
rationales behind them public, so there's no need to change now.
There are 12 newcomers on the 31-player ballot for 2012.
Like an outdated fantasy league auction, the new Premier League Soccer featuring six teams based
in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal bid for the rights to sign several "icon" players."
Hernan Crespo, who scored nine goals for Parma last season, drew the highest bid and went for
$840,000 (£536,000) at the sprightly age of 36.
Fabio Cannavaro will begin his Indian journey this February
This Monday, the six franchises of the new IPL styled soccer league put down bids for the
marquee players. Fabio Cannavaro, the 38 year old former Ballon D'Or defender drew the highest bid
of $830,000 and was sold to Siliguri.
I wasn't always anti-All-Star Game.
I remember the first one, and how exciting it was. I seem to remember the first half being much
better than the second half, but it was a large crowd at Giants Stadium and I thought it was
awesome seeing all the league's stars come together for a game. And you had big stars then like
Marco Etcheverry, Carlos Valderrama and Jorge Campos as well as guys like Eddie Pope and seeing all
of them play on a team was cool.

Marco Etcheverry, Luciano Emilio, Alecko Eskandarian, Jaime Moreno, Ben Olsen, Eddie Pope, Earnie
Stewart, Mike Petke, Jozy Altidore, Clint Mathis, Juan Pablo Angel, Tab Ramos, Tony Meola, Tim

WASHINGTON - Moments after D.C. United's dismal 2010 campaign came to an end with a 3-2 loss to
Toronto FC in late October, then-interim coach Ben Olsen suggested that the club needed to inject
some new blood into its locker room, a sentiment made all the more pertinent by the departure of
captain Jaime Moreno, who played his final game in a D.

1-How long have you been a DC United fan?
Since the very beginning! In '96 I missed only 1 game the whole season. I've been to 3 of the 4
championship games, missing only the one in LA.
2-What made you want to follow DC United?
