World wide world cup match days are the next best thing to the actual world cup, particularly when
we are in the last throes of the schedule. It's like a 1st round March madness day, but twice as
long. A few more tickets were punched, and a few other have the porter in the next cabin. Others
are starting to feel a little too uncomfortable.

With the sound of thunder and rain on the athletes' lounge, it seemed like the soccer Gods were
telling us to call it a day. There were 32 games today, and as you'd expect with that many matches,
upsets were bound to happen. These pictures come from the Cal Odyssey-Arsenal FC matchup in the
U-15/16 age group, where Cal (seeded 31st) defeated Arsenal FC (a #2 seed) 3-0 thanks to two goals
from Jose Segura and one by Gregory Antognoli.

Ok, so here on the Dynamo page we've been running a March Madness-style knockout tournament
trying to decide which team has the "best" cheerleading squad. So to even the balance, we decided
to run this post for da ladies....
I have yet to figure out exactly what Jeremy was doing on CosmoGirl.

Regarding March Madness, our Men's bracket winner ... Mo ... has started off the trash talking
for next year with this prediction ..."Next year I will either go perfect in one of the brackets
or win both of them."
Alice, you will need to convey this to Mike when you see him. Meanwhile, I will begin plotting
my own comeback!

By Graig Carbino - ALBANY, NY (Apr 13, 2009) USSoccerPlayers – This seems like the perfect time
to finally wrap up the American Abroad March Madness tournament here at USSoccerPlayers. After what
Clint Dempsey did with Fulham on Easter Sunday, is there any doubt as to who the winner is? Dempsey
has eight goals and three assists in all competitions, already surpassing his offensive output from
last season with six games to play.

First off - kudos to Michigan State on moving on to the final with a hard won win over UConn.Â
They will now face UNC for it all.
Yes. UNC. Not only did they shoot the lights out, but they also prevented Villanova from
getting anything going, pretty much. A couple of flurries - one of which brought the Wildcats
within 5, but from the get go UNC looked in charge.

A good deal of our attention has been happily distracted from March Mayhem to March Madness.Â
Thank goodness for basketball. It temporarily shifts our focus away from the mayhem on local
roads and bridges once the spring thaw is in full swing.
Winter's fury and the relentless beating our infrastructure has taken from ice, snow, sand, salt
and heavy equipment are obvious to anyone who ventures out before the patching crews have been out
in full force.

Thanks, AMR, for the link to this very special bracket! (I must say I'm a bit disappointed to
see that he didn't also complete a bracket on the women's side. There's still time, Mr.
President!) I am also trying to figure out if there is any way to get his picks into our pool here

As you gear up for March Madness, check out this great women's basketball time-line - from Helen

me feel a whole lot better about losing to the West Chester State freshman team year after year
after year.

Congratulations to the Twin Valley Flyers Peewee Hockey Team on winning the NH State Championship

That's how Michael Steele has described the Republican Party. I agree that muck is a great way to
describe a medium comprised of the detritus of right wing preachers, radio hacks, and
turdblossoms. But it doesn't seem wise for a party that is struggling mightily to find its
identity, should choose as its cheerleader-in-chief, someone [.
