Full-time in Chelsea's last-minute loss in Leverkusen brought Pies' Heineken Star Player mini
league challenge to a close, with one lucky so-and-so (by his own admission!) winning a pair of
tickets to Manchester City's must-win final Champions League group game against Bayern Munich at
the Etihad on December 7th.
Michael Ballack greeted his former side Chelsea to BayArena by leading Bayer Leverkusen to a
shock 2-1 win that heaps tremendous pressure on Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas.
In a day of reunions, Ballack went the Zlatan Ibrahimovic way (the Swede scored in Milan's 3-2
loss to his former club Barca) by getting at the end of many good chances, only to be denied by
Petr Cech throughout the night.
So after a much awaited night of footballing action, i have to say i am very disappointed.
Disappointed because not only did Milan lose (which i was not expecting), but also because of other
shocking results across the continent.
Before i get into the Chelsea game, i just want to give my 2 cents worth on the Milan v
Barcelona tie.
Manuel Friedrich headed home an injury-time winner as Bayer Leverkusen defeated Chelsea 2-1 at the
Bay Arena and prove that Andre Villas-Boas' Chelsea side are in a crisis. There is a virus sweeping
through London at the moment. The origins of the virus are somewhat unknown although its
undiscriminatory nature and effects are clear and [.
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has refused to let the increasing pressure on his team get to his
head, insisting that there is reason to stay optimistic despite a heart-breaking 2-1 defeat against
Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League.
The Blues took the lead at BayArena through a fine Didier Drogba strike at the beginning of the
second half but failed to hold on to it as substitute Erin Derdiyok punished them with a header
before Manuel Friedrich delivered a last-minute knock-out punch.

Two opposite results occurred for London duo, Arsenal and Chelsea on their Champions League
night as the former confirmed their passage into the next round while the Blues have to anxiously
wait and battle hard until the final day of competition.
The Gunners picked up an important victory over Borussia Dortmund at home with Robin Van Persie
once again act as the decider, while Andre Villas-Boas' team got pinned back by Bayer Leverkusen
despite taking an early lead.

Manuel Friedrich's last minute headed wnner stunned Chelsea whio led 1-0 with just 12 minutes
left on the clock. Watch Petr Cech's pathetic attempt to stop it.
Grab a piece of the UEFA Champions League.
'No, honestly. It's fine. Break the two hundred goal record and celebrate with him first, why don't

A manmeat feast with a side of sofa bum and extra short tent?
Enjoy your meal.
